Why is it?
A normal White kid is eating a poptart, and sees that it vaguely resembles the outline of a gun. He then plays with it as if it were a gun. The school goes insane with “zero tolerance”.
A kid with a muslim name does the equivalent with a contraption, and suddenly the entire country goes insane. Just because the kid is a specially-privileged member of America’s latest victim group, it’s not “zero tolerance” any more, it’s “islamophobia.”
The country is in a state of collective terminal insanity.
