Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Sadly, he allegedly said that he left the race so he can help others in the race to take down Trump. This race is about the establishment wanting more crony capitalism, bailouts for Wall St and unlimited immigration (illegal and otherwise) to get cheap labor while American citizens are paid unemployment and food stamps.
We need to rebuild the USA with policies that only and 300% benefit Americans and not the world beyond.
I don’t think you’d win that bet.
The only way to take out Trump, Jeb, Rubio, etc. is to get someone with a strong record against illegal immigration.
Maybe it’s Jan Brewer? Can’t think of anyone else.
I felt that Walker was basically the fallback position if Jebito failed. I guess not. Its Carly, the destroyer of corporations.
Quitting leads to more quitting.....which leads to losing.
Scott is a fine man but he never graduated college and he was very weak on amnesty for these illegal aliens. But I know that he will back Trump in the General election because he signed— they all signed loyalty pledges to back the NOMINEE!! ( Didn’t they? That would be real chiken $h1t if they didn’t — RIGHT?)
“.I am not interested in this election anymore. The rest are big phony talkers.”
Ready to go over to the dark side yet and give the ballot the heave ho? Don’t worry, you’ll get there.
Naps, I too am disappointed at Governor Walker’s exit but there’s so much on the line that I can’t stay home next year for my state primary and the presidential election. The logical choice now is Ted Cruz. Any objective person who saw and heard last week’s debate has to admire the intelligence and clarity of thought that we heard from Senator Cruz. I think Governor Walker is still a national player down the road. He wasn’t ready for this presidential run, and he couldn’t articulate a clear vision of where he wanted to take the country. Hopefully, he learns from this. Don’t despair too much. The country still needs to be saved from the left.
George Will: Walker's internal polls show him ahead of Trump in Iowa-1st choice of 2 time goers

Just watched last night's round table on Special Report.
Democrat A.B. Stoddard declares Walker's campaign dead.
George Will [paraphrasing] “Since I'm sleeping with the campaign I might as well give some inside information. Their polling shows that of those Republicans who showed up at the last caucus Walker is ahead of Trump, and for those Republicans who showed up at the last 2 caucuses, Walker is in the lead.
Charles Krauthammer agrees with Will. Walker's campaign is not over.
“Charles Krauthammer agrees with Will. Walker’s campaign is not over.”
California dreamin. :-)
“he couldnt articulate a clear vision of where he wanted to take the country”
More like he didn’t have a clear vision.
If they wanted someone who wasn’t weak on illegal immigration, why were they supporting Scott Walker? He specifically supported amnesty and citizenship for illegals. Then he briefly didn’t. Then he did again.
Will and Krap-hammer were wrong, Walker’s campaign is over - he’s pulled the eject handle officially as of a few hours ago.
Carson should be at the top of your looser list.
I predict that Cruz will get one and Rubio will get the other.
Hank
Yep but they have no problem labeling conservative candidates racist or “out of the mainstream” good response from any candidate on the right should be “I refuse to be labeled by your idiotic standards”. In 1945 Germans sympathized with their Nazi brethren... in 2015 Muslims sympathize with their Isis brethren... I wouldn’t support a Nazi as President of the USA nor would I support a Muslim.
pretty funny, obviously don't know me....just out of curiosity, what state are you from??
He tried to thread the needle on keeping conservatives and the establishment money people both happy. You can’t serve two masters at once. I know you’re a Cruz supporter. Keep that in mind when he’s throwing the red meat to conservatives about illegal immigration and turning around and keeping his big money donors satisfied with his stance on H-1B visas.
3 years at Marquette University but he didn't have the useless piece of paper because he went into politics to help get Milwaukee out of the sewer that it was in......Steve Jobs nor Bill gates has that useless status symbol either, and watching college antics now days, I respect them more for getting the hell out rather than dumping thousands of dollars into liberal toilet bowls.
Another good man. He’s not in it to split the Wisconsin vote. He’s willing to be honest about his chances. Hope he stays governor and then takes their Senate seat.
“With that, he alienated a lot of people who have appreciated the fresh, unafraid approach - and the upset of the process - that Trump has brought”.
Krauthammer went on a rant on O’Reilly and blamed everything negative in the campaign on Trump. I thought he was gonna have a heart attack. He started stuttering and drivel was coming out the side of his mouth. I think the shrink needs to be on medication.
He also said Carson was wrong about Muslims. O’Reilly stood up for Carson. So we now know one thing, Fiorina is the RINO flavor of the week.
