Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Sometimes what they want is somebody soothing.
Walker isn't that, but it does explain why so many politicians who lose the race for the top spot end up as VP nominees (Biden, Gore, Bush, Humphrey, maybe Mondale, etc.)
They aren't supposed to be dynamic, just reassuring to the party faithful.
bout time. The rest need to drop out for the good of the country and give Trump the nomination.
“Cruz has a lot of support and is in absolutely no danger of dropping out”.
Cruz was on Cavuto today saying he has PLENTY OF MONEY. No danger of him dropping out. If Trump decides he’s had enough of the BS I guarantee he calls a press conference and throws his support to Cruz. If I were betting man right now I would say Cruz will be the nominee. Krauthammer, Will and Porky Pig Rove would crawl under a rock and never be heard from again.
Maybe in his case it wouldn’t. Special circumstances.
Trump should hire her and tell her husband what to say.
What special circumstances?
Trump sent tweet saying Walker is a nice guy and has a great future ..
I didn’t listen to Walker, he took a shot at the other candidates, or just Trump?
Fox News would not report the Larry Sinclair story. Murdoch wanted Obama elected, good for business.
Trump’s work for the unions and Democrats is done.
The governor from the state that essentially gave Obama his economic growth is out. The first governor in a century to break a government union is out.
Now what’s left?
And we both know that the latter is the hard part. Reagan's practice of reducing his speeches to 3x5 card was more than a memory aid in that regard, as the process of writing them forces distillation.
Scott Walker is so nice that he is telling the other candidates to team up against Trump. That doesn’t sound too nice to me.
Looked like Walker did want a different format for the debate and wanted issues to be the concentration of the debate. Will give him that much.
Acted nice and somewhat lost and-or frustrated during the debate, will also give him that.
I never thought Scott would make it. Need more RINO’s to drop out ASAP please
Thank you, CW!
I'm a Cruz supporter because I see him as the strongest constitutionalist but Walker has many achievements in Wisconsin and deserves our thanks and respect.
“Carly gives black and white answers”.
Walker was asked TWO QUESTIONS during the second debate. I can’t count the times Trapper asked Fiorina a question. It seemed like she was lecturing the rest of the field every two minutes.

I hope you’re right. But can he beat Hillary or Biden?
Right, who needs another Lincoln or Coolidge. We’d rather have a man with charisma and chutzpah. I mean look what that did for Rome!
While that is a factor, I believe GWB was shorter than both his foes. It does seem to go that almost every time, though.
