Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Walker had the decency to suggest other low polling candidates (cough Graham, Jindal, Huck, Pataki) drop out to allow focus on viable candidates (my words, not his).
And the indecency to take an unprompted shot at Trump.
Hes young. Hell be around for at least 12 more years.
Well there’s several other’s I wish were out instead.
George Will (and some on this site) were bragging that his internals showed him leading. That was about a week ago.
Just another instance where Will the beltway boys are FOS.
Why would he want it? Secretary of Labor is a short route to complete obscurity.
Trump and Carson killed the poor fellow. He had an impressive resume but for some reason went squish as a POTUS candidate.
The few times I saw him answering questions on topics that he hadn’t memorized the canned, safe response written by his handlers, he would fumble, bumble and stumble to respond.
I think he is really not very bright.
Depending on who wins the nomination, he may be in good for VP spot.
When a VP is picked, they have to ready day one to step into the role. If he didn’t cut it and left the race this early, that means he wasn’t inspiring...what would change if he were the VP pick?
Whether you like her or not, Carly connects with people - Walker, with an amazing resume, did not. Carly gives black and white answers. We know what she thinks of planned parenthood and what she will do on her first day - that is part of the answer.
You supported a good man, but he is very young. Personally, I think that was something that did not work in his favor. He has many years and much talent and you did a good job.
It had no effect.
Did Walker take a parting shot at Trump? I listened in on Levin’s show. Didn’t hear that.
I knew Walker had hit at Trump, previously.
I sorta halfway expected Chris was gonna channel this Chris and whip off his shirt.
There goes my appetite.

“WHAT? Winner of WHAT precisely”.
Second debate.

By the way Walker was asked TWO QUESTIONS in three hours!
I agree with Walker.
And the indecency to take an unprompted shot at Trump.

Brilliant post and I completely agree. Frankly, I have never understood how anyone running for office, much less president, has to develop his ideas (we’re working on that and we will be releasing my position on that issue shortly.) Particularly issues that are decades old...don’t they know what they believe? I realize details need to be worked out, but general concepts of an issue should be known and readily articulated.
Just saw a tweet that said Walker sounded bitter and took a jab at make America great again.
LOL...low road.
