Scott Walker Said to Be Quitting Presidential Race

Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Agree with others here, he’s still young, hell be back. It’s pretty tough when a bona fide phenomenon comes out of nowhere and taps right into the times and mood like Trump. Walker will be back. Time for Jindal, Santorum, Graham, Pataki, Kasich and a couple others to leave.

He did attack Trump before Trump went after his Wisc. record.

So what? Trump had every right to respond... honestly and with factual information.

He didn't. Walker had nothing to do with that $2.2 billion budget R-E-Q-U-E-S-T from the agencies. The final product, after his line-item-vetoes produced a surplus. For Trump to call it Walker's deficit was completely false. Once he had been corrected publicly, for him to repeat it was beyond unethical: it was dishonest demagoguery.

So sad. How long was his official campaign? 2 1/2 months? This is Wisconsin’s gain and the nation’s loss, IMHO. There is much to do in Wisconsin, Gov. Welcome home and get those sons of yours back in school!
