Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Yes, please Godrid us of the obvious losers: Graham, Santorum, Christie, Kasich, and Huckabee.
Rumored new Christie campaign strategy:
He's going to EAT his rivals.

seems like walker’s supporters went over to Fiorina.
Fiorina is being pushed as a low information woman voter candidate.
Anybody have insight as to walkers once demographics?
Is his machine going to go lock stock to jbush or other establishment?

Agree with others here, he’s still young, hell be back. It’s pretty tough when a bona fide phenomenon comes out of nowhere and taps right into the times and mood like Trump. Walker will be back. Time for Jindal, Santorum, Graham, Pataki, Kasich and a couple others to leave.

What on Earth??? And this guy is still in and Walker is out? Bush is out too, he just hasn't admitted it yet.☺

I will stay home if it’s Kasich.
The man has balanced his budget on a Medicaid expansion that requires his state to fund child sacrifice.
I’d rather Hilary get it over with faster if we’re going to go down that path.

He did attack Trump before Trump went after his Wisc. record. So what? Trump had every right to respond... honestly and with factual information.
He didn't. Walker had nothing to do with that $2.2 billion budget R-E-Q-U-E-S-T from the agencies. The final product, after his line-item-vetoes produced a surplus. For Trump to call it Walker's deficit was completely false. Once he had been corrected publicly, for him to repeat it was beyond unethical: it was dishonest demagoguery.

Because it’s true and significant.
Magnificent though Cruz is, if he can’t get Walker’s votes whose will he get?
I grant the number of Walker voters may not be enough to make a measurable change in polling numbers.

Its going to be a LONG time before the GOP nominates a bland, polite man from Wisconsin for VP.
In an alternate universe, can you imagine how history might have played out if Ike had selected another favorite son from Wisconsin (Senator Joe McCarthy) as his VP instead of Richard Nixon in '52?
THAT would have been amazing! :)

Rubio is a lying fraud.

Rubio is a deceitful smooth talker.

So sad. How long was his official campaign? 2 1/2 months? This is Wisconsin’s gain and the nation’s loss, IMHO. There is much to do in Wisconsin, Gov. Welcome home and get those sons of yours back in school!
