Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Walker was my first choice going into this, based on his record as Wisconsin governor. He took on sacred cows and won, politically and administratively. But it was obvious this was not his race and he has chosen to walk off when it was time to go.
Now we need to convince a bunch of other candidates who have fewer credentials to do the same.
Connfirmed by Neil a few minutes ago.
Remind me, why did we drive the only Republican who faced down the unions out of the race so soon?
NOW who is going to advocate for the wall between the US and Canada? George Pataki... pick up that torch!!!
“If Cruz doesnt get most of his support Cruz can be written off now.”
Walker was polling at .5%, so don’t see where there is any support to shift to another candidate.
Well we’ll be happy to keep him here in Wisconsin...plenty more to accomplish.
Not to worry, he and Kraut have their own suite at the Country Club.
Cincinatus'Wife is a grown up. She lives in reality. Of course she will be disappointed, but I'm certain she won't be shocked.
IMHO, I think Governor Walker is exhibiting both courage and good common sense by discontinuing his campaign now.
Unlike others who seem to want to hang on at all costs, Governor Walker has a firm grip on reality. God bless and keep him. He is, after all, still the great Governor of Wisconsin!
Anyone but Kasich—that big aged bloviator.
As fresh as last week’s eggs.
LoL. Will like Rove can’t see straight.
Would love to see what ladies visit them there. ;)
Cruz and Rubio now are my top two.
Walker has said for the past few days that Fiorina was the predetermined winner no matter what happened. I agree with him. He’s a very smart man. Trump basically said the same thing.
Uber pro-abort, pro-queer “marriage” supporter Krauthammer viciously attacked both Walker and Trump over the weekend and said they were “sore losers” for badmouthing the new RINO Fox favorite Fiorina.
+1
BTTT
I know it gets intense here every four years, but I hate personal crap, and that includes when Trump does it.
I had respect for CW’s belief in Walker, she took more grief over it than was ever necessary.
In this day and age of Idiocracy America you have to have charisma, that’s just the way it is, People want Rock Stars for President.
Hope he doesn’t endorse FioRIno.
Walker and most of the other GOP candidates need to learn from Trump - grow a pair and boldly speak for and defend the conservative views that your constituents believe in. Spend your time trying to appease the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the GOP establishment, and lose.
Because he’s a RINO squish and all of his accomplishments were actually liberal /s :)
The cleaning ladies?
