Sunday on NBCs Meet the Press, host Chuck Todd asked Republican front-runner Donald Trump, Can you imagine supporting or being comfortable if a Muslim ever became president of the United States?
Trump said, I can say its something that at some point could happen. Well see. I mean you know at some point it could happen. Would I be comfortable? I dont know if we have to address it right now but I think its certainly something that could happen.
Talking over Todd he added, Some people have said it already happened, frankly, but, of course, you wouldnt agree with that.
Todd said, But lets get to that. Why wont you concede that the president is a Christian and that the president was born in the United States?
Trump said, Because I dont talk about peoples faith. now, in all fairness he said he was a Christian. He attended the church of Reverend Wright and so, you know, Im willing to take him at his word for that. I have no problem with that.

Yeah I suspect you are right... The Media, by trying to ruin Trump, ends up helping him, because of how he handles them. It just triggers a thought response in normal people who think, yeah he is right... the more times they think that, the more they are moving into Trumps camp.
So what if he is a muslim!
It only matters when one considers that possibility in context of the foreign policy he has followed.
Suddenly that policy looks very Islamic.
We like Cruz, but you are always nasty. That does not help Cruz. By the way, his statement was underwheming, but okay.
Trump has done a great job with this today. He is playing them perfect.
Yet on Saturday Trump visited a high school and said that he would have absolutely no problem putting a Muslim in his cabinet or on his ticket.
That’s not exactly true is it?

Heres what she said today about Trumps now-famous Q&A last night, via Mediaite: He knew or he should have known that what that man was asking was not only way out of bounds, it was untrue, she continued. And he should have, from the beginning, repudiated that kind of rhetoric, that level of hatefulness in a questioner in an audience that he was appearing before. So I would call on him and call on all of the candidates to stop this descent into the kind hateful, mean-spirited, divisive rhetoric that we have seen too much of in the last months.
I think it is prejudiced, I think it is discriminatory, and I think that it comes out of the unfortunate reservoir of hateful rhetoric that we have seen too much of where people are being set against one another, and that has no place in our politics, she said.
BACKSTORY--- Slate, February 25, 2008:
Today, the Drudge Report posted a big, fat headline that howled, Clinton staffers circulate Muslim-dressed Obama pic. ---- a picture of Obama on a diplomatic trip to Kenya in 2006, wearing traditional dress of the areacomplete with a turban-looking Muslim headdress
First, the Obama campaign sent around a press release at 9:29 a.m. from campaign manager David Plouffe, in which he said the photo is exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world.
Then, at 10:54 a.m., Clintons campaign manager, Maggie Williams, pierced the quiet with her own release. Enough, she wrote. If Barack Obamas campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely. She goes on to say Obama is trying to distract from the serious issues. Note that they never refuted Drudges piece
In December, the [Clinton] campaign asked two of its employees to resign after they proliferated rumors that Obama was a Muslim.
Let me remind you again, as I did this morning, that Hillary herself once hedged when asked if Obama was a Muslim, saying there was no evidence of that as far as I know.

FOR ADDITIONAL REFRESHMENT: dive into this immensely enjoyable article from Politico in which 20 big-name Democrats try and fail miserably to name one meaningful Hillary Clinton accomplishment. Barbara Boxers submission, no joke, is galvanizing the Senate after the tragedy of 9/11 to rebuild the city, as if that wouldnt have happened without her. --SNIP--
’ “I believe the later is born out by his actions in support of militant muslims and utter disregard to the plights of non-muslims, as well as how he’s surrounded himself over the years with both America haters and radical islamists”

I’ll bet if anyone told you 15 years ago that you would be describing an American President this way you would have thought that they had lost their mind.
.
Obama is NOT a Christian, not that I need any more evidence to back it up but for those that do, just look who Obama invited to the WH to meet the Pope.
Personally I believe the Catholic Church has become a cult, but putting that aside here it is....
“The president will put this to the test, because he has invited a pro-abortion nun, a gay bishop, and a transgender female to the White House to meet the pontiff.”
What we know is this...there is no such thing as a homosexual Christian, there is no such thing as a pro choice Christian.
Christians do not support the removal of Christ from the classroom Public square, they dont appoint anti Christian judges to the Supreme Court or any court.
Obama is NOT a Christian period nor is anybody that shares any of his views.
So Ben Carson and Jeb Bush just proved that they dont have much of a relationship with Christ.
We are not doing anybody any favors by telling them these things are acceptable to God/Christ., in fact we are denying the Lord when we do this
Cathy, Cathy, Cathy....You're still parroting the MSM leftist and the professionally corrupt snakes in D.C. So much so it makes me thing you're one of them.
Trump was talking about the criminally corrupt President of United States. This is not about some comment Trump made to some high school kids at a completely different time and venue. Try to keep up Cathy.
Btw Cathy, that is not what Trump said.☺
You know, you can try to justify this any way you want, but I think deep down you probably know you would never accept such a statement from any other Republican candidate. Hence the ad hominem and the lashing out.
"One student told Trump that she considered Muslim-Americans to be an important segment of the country. They asked whether the billionaire businessman would consider putting a Muslim in his Cabinet or on his ticket.
"Oh, absolutely," Trump responded. "No problem with that."
Yep! I thought the same thing years ago, Trump!:)
So it’s “nasty” to repeat Trump’s own words.
No. You’d just rather not be reminded of them.
“If you follow the flow of the conversation with Stepanopolous its pretty clear that he didnt admit to Muslim faith.”
What exactly does “my Muslim faith” mean, then? Do you really think that a Catholic would slip and say “my Baptist faith”?
Would a Hindu slip and say “my Muslim faith”? Have you ever, by the way, ever seen, or heard of, anybody else make a slip like that?
So let’s address what Trump told the high school kid.
He “loves the Muslims” and would have “absolutely no problem” considering one for his cabinet or even on his ticket.
Is that all right with you?
Would you be in favor of a Muslim VP or a Muslim cabinet member?
Cathy she seems as desperate as the leftist MSM and the professional liars in D.C.
Hillary also knew the Obama campaign tightly-controlled the news media 's access to Obama's bgrnd.
O's PR person---Anita Dunn---said they answered no media questions.
They gave out out ONLY what they wanted the media (and voters) to know.
How is it desperate to repeat Trump's own words---albeit ones I'm sure you wish he had never uttered, and as we see here, words you're trying your best to ignore.
If Trump decided on a Muslim VP or cabinet member, would that be all right with you?
Noticed on that interview how ‘Georgie boy Stephanopolous ‘corrected’ Obama by saying ‘your christian faith’. Obama looked a little stunned and then said ‘my christian faith’. Doesn’t matter now we know Obama was born a muslim and although he’s not now devout he has some islamic leanings plain as day. The deniers in the LSM can go pound middle east desert sand.
