Jack Riley, the No. 2 at the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), signaled support for Donald Trumps proposal to build a wall along the Southern border in a recent interview centered on hunting down Mexican drug cartel boss Joaquin El Chapo Guzman.
In an exclusive interview with Yahoo News, the acting deputy administrator at the Obama administrations DEA agency, discussed why the U.S. government is invested in hunting escaped convict El Chapo, the leader of Mexicos brutal Sinaloa cartel.
Riley explained why El Chapo and his murderous criminal empire are a threat to the United States.
The Sinaloa cartel has been dubbed the worlds biggest drug trafficking organization.

On the other hand, he may be running it in a year or so.
I suspect you’re right.
Trump should keep this guy on his radar screen.
If anything happens to his job in the next year, he should be completely reinstates when he takes over. Promoted even.
(sorry, “reinstated”)
Then-Gov Perry proposed annexing parts of Mexico into Texas......specifically drug cartel territory......as violent gang members flooded into Texas to get in-state tuition provided by La Raza Rick.
==================================================
The pay-offs musta been staggering....Perry even planned to build a highway to transport illegals from Mexico into Texas.
Perry proposed The Trans-Texas Corridor, a series of highways, rails, and pipelines to aid in the flow of "traffic" "people" and "goods" through the state of Texas. Perry's Trans Texas Corridor actually began construction....in Mexico.
REFERENCE Perry bragged The Trans Texas Corridor was the largest public works project ever proposed for Texas w/ a statewide network of priority corridors stretching 4,000 miles and measuring up to 1,200 feet wide.....before it flopped.

I’m convinced that high level insiders in federal and state governments are already in the pocket of drug lords and the drug money flow. They are always the ones that oppose any attempts at building walls or increasing border security between US and Mexico. Leaving the southern border wide open is like living in a crime infested neighborhood and leaving the front door wide open, then wondering why you get robbed.
....Or he will.
The only people who don’t want the border secured are those who have been paid off to keep it open.
I found it interesting that Trump a couple of weeks ago corrected people that he was not going to build a ‘fence’, but instead a ‘wall’. Yet yesterday he seemed to go out of his way to say only that he would build a ‘fence’.
The transparent way they found El Chapo in plain sight...and then his “Great Escape”.....billions must have changed hands.
I didn't hear his remarks yesterday, but I'm doubtful that he has changed his position in any way.
Well, he did IIRC recently modify his position by saying we need approximately 1000 miles of wall, because of the natural features we are blessed with along the border.
Its my personal opinion, and my opinion isnt worth squat, but the only logical explanation of why the U.S. Government hasnt sealed our border with Mexico and deported every illegal alien within this country is that the drug traffickers have done here what theyve done in every country between here and the Andean Ridge, theyve simply bought elections and put their people into key positions within our government. To think otherwise is to be naïve beyond belief.
That may be some of the reason. IMO the main reasons, though, are (a) the Cheap Labor express and (b) more reliable Democrat serfs.
I wonder if crocodiles could live in the Rio Grande?
Or sharks with frickin’ lasers.
That's the corollary, or perhaps even the ancillary. The primary is to keep the largest non-participating group in labor in the history of the US down.
