Hopefully, their politeness is mistaken for acceptance. And as for uncle bernie and a pile of bs, how do we know the difference between the two? And yet, I'm already seeing bernie bumper stickers. Yes, we truly surrounded by idiots. So is it a plus or minus when mika or mike barnacle or putz prize winner eugenea robinson tout your speech. Not particularly thinking any of them are much brighter than a 6 watt bulb.

I had to quit using that metaphor because the 6 watt LED bulb I bought for my living room is actually pretty bright.

Bernie Sander’s should be called “Egypt”, because he leaves a pyramid of BS everywhere he goes.

Where in the hell did this guy come from? I know, Vermont. I would be happy to contribute to a one-way ticket for him to Cuba or Venezuela where he could fully enjoy his Communism he so radically desires. The good part of having this person around is that he is a poster child for the Democrat Party which has swung so far left, Marx would be jealous.

What a disgrace to America to have this guy any where near a presidential election process.

If Ted Cruz were to speak at an equivalent leftist University like, say, Univ. of CA at Berkeley, just imagine the politeness (sarc!)

How is this different from what he serves up everywhere else he has spoken?

Unless the school had some knowledgeable adult there to counter what this long-time, far left, veteran politician said, they should not have allowed him to speak to the kids. Otherwise, he could easily sway or influence some of them. He’s clearly out of his mind, but he speaks articulately and would probably come across to many kids as credible. Many young people are naive, impressionable, and fairly easily manipulated.

Using Karl Marx’s ideas to help the middle class is like using Adolf Hitler’s ideas to help the Jews.

Karl Marx HATED the middle class.

But the middle class Marxists keep voting for Bernie Sanders.

And I submitted a column to the American Thinker 5 months ago saying pretty much everything this column is saying.

Now it’s considered brilliant.

Thanks guys. :)

More frightening than the old fool himself is the fact of the large crowds he draws coupled with the earlier election of the negro community organizer from Chicago as President. Have Americans lost their cohesion, their confidence, the fact that they are a “People?”

George Washington fought and won the Revolutionary War, shocked his European skeptics when he relinquished power afterward, presided over the composition of the Constitution, was elected POTUS by acclamation, and set the precedents for subsequent presidents including not serving more than two terms, and did not violate either the laws or traditions of his country or his religion by owning slaves.

It sounds terrible that he owned slaves, but there were no published defenses of slavery because the institution of slavery was universal in space and time, up to Washington's lifetime. That was true of paganism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, you name it - and it was even true of Christianity. Shocking as it sounds, Christianity did not turn against the institution of slavery until then. And the Civil War was the result of the fact that southern Christians were the last ones to “get the word.” And they had a tiger by the tail, and knew it.

All very well for Bernie Sanders to critique the fact that Washington was not ahead of his time on every significant issue. But all Bernie Sanders has done is serve in the House and Senate under the Constitution made by Washington, not break the laws against owning slaves which were established by the government established under Washington’s Constitution after Washington’s lifetime. That gives Bernie Sanders no warrant to claim moral, or any other, superiority over George Washington.

But arrogance is a defining characteristic of socialists such as he.
