Black children with acute appendicitis -- a clearly painful emergency -- are less likely than white children to get painkillers in the emergency room, researchers reported Monday.
And nearly as troubling, only about half of any of the kids got painkillers, even though they're strongly recommended in cases of appendicitis, the researchers found.
"Black patients with moderate pain were less likely to receive any analgesia, and black patients with severe pain were less likely to be treated with opioids," Dr. Monika Goyal of the Children's National Health System in Washington and colleagues wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Association's JAMA Pediatrics.

A few years ago, I took an injured employee to the hospital in Keneiba, Mali and had him admitted. The hospital was a windowless, circular mud hut with a thatched roof and only one door. The hospital had a dirt floor, was about thirty feet in diameter, and about fifteen patients were lying on straw mats on the dirt floor arranged in a circle around the wall.
I happened to arrive just as the doctor and two interns (you could tell they were doctors because they were wearing dirty white smocks) were making their rounds, and I watched them as they knelt by each patient to give them an injection all with the same needle. About every third patient, an intern would sharpen the needle, but no attempt was made to sterilize the needle. As an estimated forty percent of the local population was HIV positive at the time, it made that needle the most dangerous thing I have ever encountered.

In the ER they don't want to drug them so much as to be unresponsive and unable to assist with diagnosis. So take the edge off, yeah. Put 'em to sleep, no.
There could be numerous reasons the Doc's won't give Opiods to black kids and it probably has nothing to do with race.
Maybe the kid was required to kick the heroine habit before he was born because his mother was consuming it while he was in Utero.Or maybe the kids allergic to opium based drugs.
There could be many reasons.
Only blacks, brain dead liberals, the lamestream media and federal government bureaucrats pay attention to cries of white on black racism anymore.

If black patients with the same complaints got fewer pain killers compared to white patients IN THE SAME HOSPITAL, they might have a case.

From the actual report abstract “ In a multivariable model, there were no significant differences in the overall rate of analgesia administration by race. “
From the body of the report: “ Table 2 describes the distribution of analgesia administration by race. In bivariable analysis, there were no statistically significant differences in administration of any analgesia by race; however, black patients were less likely to receive opioid analgesia than white patients”
From a table in the actual report: Proportion receiving any pain relief White = 57%, Black = 55%. That difference is statistically insignificant. The only difference is in the TYPE of pain relief given.
People should NEVER EVER believe these MSM propaganda pieces without going to the original study.

The only time I ever got a pain killer was after surgery. I don’t believe it’s common practice to hand out pain killers in the ER when you may not even know the person’s medical condition or history.
