Jim Wallis, the far-left founder of Sojourner Magazine and beneficiary of George Soros donations who has built a career out of subverting constitutional liberty in America by quoting the Bible out of context, is at it again.
In his latest effort in transparent left-wing propaganda, Wallis extends his love for open borders from the huge populations of Middle East and Africa to the United States to all of Europe.
At The Huffington Post, the self-proclaimed Christian leader for social change, preaches to both sides of the Atlantic. In Europe and in the U.S. we must welcome the stranger, he writes.
In the United States, that means, Wallisacting in his capacity as a self proclaimed divine prophet on earthcommands us to open our borders to illegal aliens from every country on earth.
His command to European countries is clear: They must welcome between 360,000 and 500,000 [Syrian] refugees.
But several evangelical leaders are calling Wallis out for his distortions of the Bible that promote a left-wing pseudo-Christian theocracy.
It is curious to me that these refugees are almost entirely Islamic even though Christians are the ones in most mortal danger by Islamists, Kelly Monroe Kullberg, founder of the Veritas Forum and author of Finding God at Harvard, tells Breitbart News. The refugees are not mostly sweet children, but adult Muslim males who are unscreened, she said, adding Islamizing America [and Europe] is cultural injustice and suicide, not stewardship, beauty and progress.
Hijrah (pronounced: Hish-ra) is the Muslim doctrine of migration to spread Islam throughout the world, Kullberg says. By the Hijrah, Kullberg explains, Europe and America are to be conquered demographically as well as politically. This strategy appears in the Muslim Brotherhoods Memorandum on civilization jihad of 1991 and elsewhere.

This false prophet was Bill Clinton’s “spiritual advisor” to cover up the adulterer’s affair with Monica. He is a political wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Wallis was in SDS in college. Graduated from Trinity Evangelical Seminary in Chicago area. He does mix liberation theology with Bible.
During his seminary years he headed a publication called:The Post American...that should give you a clue as to his politics way back in the mid 1970’s...it was from there he went on to start the Sojourner organization.

Wallis has been off the reservation (if he was ever on it) for a long long time.
Kookiness.
I don’t believe for one moment that Jim Wallis even believes in God. He speaks like an outright fraud.
Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

The presence of Marxism in liberation theology is well-known, at least to seminarians who are critical readers. Practically every seminarian reads Gustavo Gutierrezs Theology of Liberation at some point, but most laypeople find it hard to believe that there could have been (and continues to be) a widespread attempt to hybridize Christian theology and Marxism.
Marxist regimes obviously benefitted from the spread of liberation theology in the churches. Still, I was not aware of any connections between liberation theology and communist clandestine organizations until now.
A new article by Robert D. Chapman in the International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence begins to connect some dots. In The Church in Revolution, Chapman, a retired operations officer in the Clandestine Services Division of the Central Intelligence Agency, argues that the KGB infiltrated the Russian Orthodox Church through Metropolitan Nikodim, the Russian Orthodoxys second-ranking prelate. Nikodim was a proponent of liberation theology. Nikodim was active in the otherwise-Protestant World Council of Churches. And the WCC, of course, became an actively left-wing organization during the last half of the 20th century.
Chapman also details the growth of liberation theology in Latin Americaand the Vaticans struggles with itand the growth of black liberation theology in the United States. Prominent proponents of the latter include James Cone and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
The arguments of liberation theologians should be challenged on their merits. The source of an argument, after all, doesnt establish its truth or falsity. Still, its interesting to learn that liberation theology may have been, at least in part, a project of the KGB.
Unfortunately, this isnt just history. Chapman concludes ominously:
"the Theology of Liberation doctrine is one of the most enduring and powerful to emerge from the KGBs headquarters. The doctrine asks the poor and downtrodden to revolt and form a Communist government, not in the name of Marx or Lenin, but in continuing the work of Jesus Christ, a revolutionary who opposed economic and social discrimination.
A friend of mine, a head of Catholic social services in my area and formerly a priest, is a liberation theologian. He has made a number of humanitarian trips to Central America and told me, liberation theology is alive and well. The same can be said of its sibling in the United States [ie, Black Liberation Theology]."

There was a time when Wallis had a vision of a reconsituted first-Century house church in modern America, and he expressed that very beautifully in the final chapter of his first book, “The Call to Conversion”.
The Eucharist was to be central. The chapter had echoes of Bonhoffer’s “Life Together.”
Sadly, Wallis has, in the words of St. John in Revelation, “lost his first love.”
Jim Wallis is one of many supposed ‘clerics’ who have led people astray. Tony Campolo is another. What a huge disappointment he was when he endorsed gay marriage.
If only he would preach such love where the muslims could hear his message directly, like in Saudi Arabia at the cube.
+1
Shades of Jim Jones. Anything to kill capitalism.

Leftist “evangelical” Jim Wallis pals around with leftist “Jewish Renewal” rabbi Michael Lerner in their “spiritual advisor to obama” (and/or Hillary) roles:

Here’s our Orthodox Christian entry in this spiritually poisonous stew, “Orthodox atheist” and “gay” and obama supporter Frank Schaeffer:
I dunno. I—although unworthy—experienced God in His Energies in Divine Liturgy and Holy Communion this morning (as did millions of my fellow Orthodox), and I prostrated before the Cross in Matins afterwards. So I’m not about to become any sort of “atheist”, or to prostitute myself to leftist ideology or bogus programs for “renewal”.
The Psalm (which we sing in Divine Liturgy) says, “put not your trust in princes”!!!!
“Before Thy Cross we bow down in worship,
and Thy Resurrection we glorify”
That is enough for me.
He and Comrade Pope should get along famously. Did His Arrogance invite Comrade Rev. Wallis to be part of his entourage when he conspires with Comrade Pope on Climate Change and installing the NWO?
Good!!!!
Frank Schaeffer used to be a leading light in the Orthodox Church, too!!!!
The he discovered obama.
At the time it was a good way to avoid the draft. It was also a good way to obtain a job that gave you standing to promulgate leftist trash and did not require too much work. (Not much work for a leftist agitator, it generally is work, of course, for a real pastor or preacher.)
