Carson just found out that the delegates pick the nominee...and not the people.

I would support guest worker status. As long as it was mandatory with no exceptions. And didn’t confer any entitlements or citizenship.

Criminality or lack of a card would have to mean immediate deportation. No exceptions. No questions asked.

Yep. I admire all of the chutzpah around here, but you don’t get into the White House unless you satisfy Big Business’s lust for cheap labor.

How would the U.S.' economy survive such a mass deportation. According to a study from the American Action Forum, deporting 11 million people would take nearly 20 years and cost the government anywhere between $400 billion and $600 billion. Overall, the Real GDP would fall by as much as $1.6 trillion.

Why would it cost $36,000 to $54,000 per illegal? It didn't cost them that much to get here. Deport the ones who come in contact with government, no more moronic catch and release. Fine employers, end welfare and other government benefits, stop educating their children. They'll head back for free.

What Trump said is deport them all and start over. It would be impossible to sort it out any other way. Lawyers and all that. Anyone who’s here illegally is a criminal and should be regarded as such.

Those who have criminal records and/or who are not employed should be deported.

100% of the illegal immigrants are criminals.

By definition.

Deport them all. No benefits, no jobs, no housing. Get them out.

They will stay and drive down wages. Many will take welfare, free housing, healthcare and schooling.

This is the same position as Walker.

Bye bye Ben and bye bye Walker.

What Trump wants to do and what will happen with regard to illegal immigrants if he is president, are not the same thing.

Building a wall is a must. Deporting violent criminal illegals is a must. Deporting welfare receiving illegals is a must. Doing that alone would take years.

I have lived in Southern California for many years and employed (legal) Mexican workers. They are fine workers. Our population is aging. We are not reproducing at a rate to maintain our population.

We need to control and screen immigration, but we need workers. In So.Cal. they do jobs no one else will take.
If anyone thinks a spoiled American-born will get out in 110 degree heat that we have in the desert and landscape your property, you are dead wrong.

Meanwhile, our president is importing Muslims. Mexicans are not Muslims, and for that we should be eternally grateful.

US citizens would work if they didn't do better living off government benefits. Life on the dole should be somewhat harsh.

Wouldn't Mexican workers prefer a totally legal process? I remember back in 1968, going to two Caesar Chavez protests in Boston. One was to throw grapes in Boston Harbor, the other lettuce.

What he was demanding is decent wages and conditions for guest workers, not wages that are less than US citizens would work for. That has to be a condition of any guest worker program, or it undermines US workers.

"Why would it cost $36,000 to $54,000 per illegal?"

This "study" that keeps being referred to is from the American Action Forum, they're in the pocket of the CoC and are pro amnesty/increased immigration. Since they claim to be "center-right", the left loves to repeat the "findings" of the "study".
