I received this email festooned with banners to make it appear as if it cane from the Ben Carson campaign. When I clicked on the "unsubscribe" link which led to a page labeled "Unsubscribe from NRCC Mailing List". Hmmmmmm...

Pimping the other "outsider" with contributions to the RINO establishment? I don't think so. Trump has them pulling their hair out. Heh-heh.

I barely know anyone who has heard of Carson. I think the man has some good points, but I basically consider him a nonentity with no chance of winning at all.

And yet, somehow, the media tells me he is riding high in the polls and well-positioned to take down Trump.

The GOP sees Carson as the next designated loser against Hillary. Yeb proved to be too much of a loser. Trump is no loser at all. Perhaps Carson will allow the GOP to look like they tried and just “missed it by that much”.

That's my guess as well. I don't think the GOPe has given up on Jeb at all. They remember how McCain came from behind to win the nomination. They dream of Jeb doing the same.

Carson is just a (probably unwitting) tool in that process.

If Carson were to win, and we saw a Black turnout for him, and he did a good job as president, would he forever change the landscape of the black voting populace?

I doubt it. BUT, it would certainly highlight the inherent racism of liberals. He would ACTUALLY be called racists names by democrats, liberals and blacks.
