It's 'awful late' to get prepared, warns Jim Bakker: 'You have to take care of your family' (tr)

There’s war in Ukraine and the Middle East. And persecution of Christians in the Holy Land and around the world. Even in the United States.

Then there is a border crisis of “biblical” proportions in Europe. And the beginning of a new Shemitah cycle accompanying trouble in the American economy.

Trouble looms on many fronts, but if you are just starting to prepare, says evangelist Jim Bakker, “You are awful late.”

Bakker made the comment in a discussion with pastor, talk-show host and author Carl Gallups on “The Jim Bakker Show.”

Gallups was discussing his new book, “Be Thou Prepared,” which shows Christians how to survive persecution and disaster.

“I love it,” commented Bakker on Gallups’ ideas. “You have to take care of your family.”

Gallups said it’s not just a good idea but a “God-given responsibility.”

And the pastor believes preparation isn’t just about providing for those close to you – it’s about carrying out the Great Commission.

“We make these preparations so that we might survive. We survive so that we may provide for our families, so that we might minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those around us, particularly those who haven’t prepared,” he said.

“So if we’re sitting around worried about food and water and clothing and shelter and we’re scrounging and scrapping and scraping, we can’t minister to the neighbor next door, or to the person across the street or to the lost person down the road – or, to the world that’s going crazy because they thought we were a bunch of nuts until the time came when they don’t have anything, either.”

Gallups advises Christians to “take care of your family first, but not in a selfish way.”

The goal, said Gallups, is for you to have the “peace in

Sad to see her large estate go to such filth

Not to defend Jim Bakker or any of the other Prophets for Profit, but the sad reality is that for many people, often indigent widows, these men provide a service, a virtual "community" if you will. The elderly who are unable to get out to church and who miss the companionship of like-minded others find it comforting to be "part" of the "Worldwide Television Congregation" of men like Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, and Oral Roberts.

That such men exploit that loneliness and godly yearning for luchre is the abomination.

"Jimmy Swaggart..."

Jimmy Swaggart...
I was fortunate enough to be flipping through the channels one day in the mid-eighties, Jimmy Swaggart was there BRAGGING about how he had never been to a "Hollywood Movie". Well, we now know that the reason he'd never been to a "Hollywood Movie" was that he was too busy paying hookers so he could masturbate while he watched them masturbate.

Hell's a burnin' Jimmy, you pompous sonofabitch.

Darling Aunt Marjorie was just plain lonesome. She never had children, and during her lifetime was an accomplished, published poet. She married well in her youth, and had a sizable estate, unfortunately, not one of us saw her dilemma. She hid it well.

Bakker and that hideous wife benefited from her situation.

Yep, it’s true. The same kind of community “service” that Farcebook provides to all the old queers, queens, and aging 60’s hipsters and lefties who believe in obamaumao as the One, and hitlery for the aging dykes and fems.

Farcebook, a veritable cornucopia of crapola, conceived in college, and stolen by a crap weasel of the first order.

Like TV and the evangelists— Farcebook is for shut ins and the elderly and those who have given up.

We have been prepared for 5 years. Just sayin.

Actually tonight we had a trial run of a can of Brooksdale beef stew from Aldi’s with potatoes we grew in our own garden and broccoli same deal. Mighty tasty. In down times it would be a really good dinner and served with homebaked bread by Moi. :-)

So Aldi meets your minimum standards?

I have never been to one. Looking forward to it.

The new Aldi’s near us is great. We just tried a can of their beef stew for dinner last night with side veggies. It was very tasty. We have stocked up on cans of Aldi beef stew and chicken and dumplings as they are tasty and way less expensive than Kroger or Ingles. Good survival food.

“You have to take care of your family.”

I believe the main area people will have a problem with is being able to shoot another person when the time comes. Too many will hesitate. Hesitation can/will cause either your death or the death of a loved one.

We are headed for open warfare in our neighborhoods and islam will be the main cause of it. Be ready!
