Theres war in Ukraine and the Middle East. And persecution of Christians in the Holy Land and around the world. Even in the United States.
Then there is a border crisis of biblical proportions in Europe. And the beginning of a new Shemitah cycle accompanying trouble in the American economy.
Trouble looms on many fronts, but if you are just starting to prepare, says evangelist Jim Bakker, You are awful late.
Bakker made the comment in a discussion with pastor, talk-show host and author Carl Gallups on The Jim Bakker Show.
Gallups was discussing his new book, Be Thou Prepared, which shows Christians how to survive persecution and disaster.
I love it, commented Bakker on Gallups ideas. You have to take care of your family.
Gallups said its not just a good idea but a God-given responsibility.
And the pastor believes preparation isnt just about providing for those close to you its about carrying out the Great Commission.
We make these preparations so that we might survive. We survive so that we may provide for our families, so that we might minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those around us, particularly those who havent prepared, he said.
So if were sitting around worried about food and water and clothing and shelter and were scrounging and scrapping and scraping, we cant minister to the neighbor next door, or to the person across the street or to the lost person down the road or, to the world thats going crazy because they thought we were a bunch of nuts until the time came when they dont have anything, either.
Gallups advises Christians to take care of your family first, but not in a selfish way.
The goal, said Gallups, is for you to have the peace in

I’m all for “preparedness”. I have no problem with prepping. But I have a lot of issues with Jim Bakker who, IMO, should still be in prison being someone’s buttboy.
Didn't he go to jail a few years ago for scamming people out of their hard earned dollars?
James Orsen “Jim” Bakker (pronounced “Baker”; born January 2, 1940) is an American televangelist, a former Assemblies of God minister and a former host (with his then-wife Tammy Faye Bakker) of The PTL Club, a popular evangelical Christian television program.
A sex scandal led to his resignation from the ministry. Subsequent revelations of accounting fraud brought about his imprisonment and divorce. He later remarried and returned to televangelism.
I don’t think it was just any people. I believe Bakker specialized in convincing little old ladies who lived on their social security check to cough up their Ensure money for God.
He’s what I call a New World Order Christian, the ones who pray on Sunday, and then prey on each other on Monday.
What do you get if you cross Oral Roberts with Jim Bakker?
A TV preacher who will die if he doesn’t get gay sex every week.
I can’t vouch for anything the old man says but I can say this, Baker’s son impressed me like no one else since Mother Terressa. He runs a kind of underground punk rock ministry. I’ve seen the guy with my own eyes stand up on an embankment on the street and confront today’s kids straight to their face about sin. The abuse hurled at him was unimaginable but he never flinched. I’ve never seen anything like it. Just sayin.
So is that weasel is now hawking supplies to preppers, or what?
Matthew 6: 25-27
Jesus told us not to worry.
He certainly appears to be doing that.
Exactly. Our great aunt, sat lonely, in her home and wrote checks to these creeps. No one in the family knew about it until she passed away and the executor was going through her papers. Probate decided to bury her in a pauper’s grave; upon learning this, the family jumped in to buy her a cemetery plot, where she now rests.
Sad to see her large estate go to such filth. Yet, she thought she was doing the right thing. Bless her kind soul.

Besides water, food and shelter, you should have an ample supply of ammunition and tricks up your sleeve to protect what you have amassed for you and your immediate family to survive. It is only human nature to covet what others have.
Yes, his son seems to be the real deal. I have seen him interviewed and he was grounded—tatted up and wild looking, but grounded.
In the last couple years, he’s become a doomsday prophet. He says this stuff all the time.
hey, I’m all good. I just sent all my money to Mike Murdock and Todd Coons so I’m sure God will bless me.
Hes what I call a New World Order Christian, the ones who pray on Sunday, and then prey on each other on Monday.
WWDTD?
In the 1970’s Bakker’s TV show was called The PTL Club meaning Praise The Lord and also People That Love.
My grandmother said PTL stood for “pass the loot”.
It was one example of `prosperity evangelism’. Send us money & receive tenfold in return.
Then Tammy Faye would sing.......
I was wondering what Jim has been doing since Tammy Faye died of make up poisoning!!!!
