Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is hoping that a blistering takedown of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will help lift his struggling campaign out from the bottom of the crowded 2016 field.
Jindal called Trump "unstable," "a narcissist," "unserious," and "a carnival act" during remarks at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
"I want to say what everyone is thinking about Donald Trump but is afraid to say," Jindal said before ripping into Trump.
"He is shallow, there is no substance. He doesn't know anything about policy, he has no idea what he is talking about. He makes it up on the fly," Jindal said.
Along with the speech, Jindal's campaign released two web videos mocking Trump. One is a mashup of all the things Trump has said he loves throughout the campaign, ending with an "Anchorman" clip of absentminded weatherman Brick Tamland saying "I love lamp." The other compares Trump's promises of winning to actor Charlie Sheen during the notoriously outrageous interviews the actor did in 2011.

RESPONSE:
No words are necessary. A short video clip of people waiting in line for bumper stickers at a GOP headquarters. Hundreds in line by the Trump sign. One person in line by the Jindal sign. CAPTION: Jindal? Seriously?
trolls?
Jindal is a stupid clod and a willing tool for the GOPe.
Tsk, tsk.
-10,000
Surely you can do better than that.
I don’t know if Lil Bobbie can get any lower in the polls. Trump may even ignore little Bobbie since he’s close to below Zero. .00
I didn’t realize how naive you are until now.
Kind of surprised to see you support such a flaming unbeliever.

The thing is, Jindal is right.
Which is why I support Cruz.
At some time Donald is going to have to answer a policy question in depth, otherwise his appeal will diminish. This will be apparent as the debates roll on.
Jindal on Obama 2/2015:
“In a sharply-worded new critique, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal says that President Obamas handling of the Islamic State terrorist group has shown the country he is incapable of bring commander-in-chief of the United States of America.”
And that was just a search on his statements this year.
I’m sorry, but while Trump is a great self promoter, and no doubt has a style that some folks don’t like, he’s not remotely a narcissist.
The incredibly stupid thing about the GOPe candidates, and the media is, is they just don’t understand what is going on with Trump’s support, and the more they do this sort of stupid stuff the more popular they are going to make him.
The latest attempt at petty “GOTCHA” reporting, over his comments about Carly... and this never had a chance candidate tirade will just reinforce that the media is out to get him, and the establishment hates him which both play directly in part to why he is getting the support he is.
The more shrill and insane their attacking of him gets, the higher he’s going to poll.
“trolls?”
LMFAO. That’s the usual term used by the TDS FReaks for anyone who makes very intelligent posts here without bashing Trump for being a Democrat, for having insulted a “conservative Christian lady”, and telling anyone who doesn’t post hate for Trump that they’re “worshipping their hero”.
Well. We’re already used to all those things with Barack Obama.
Screaming name calling of the poll leader so the media will pay some attention to him. I forgot he was even running and so has most of the people.
Jindal is polling at >1% in the latest CNN Poll, likely won’t be eligible for Next Week’s CNN Debate, and desperately needs to raise his profile.
You wrote “Whats super-hilarious is that so many of the TDS FReaks are quite content to repeat ABCCBSCNNNBCFOX/AP headlines as fact here at FR while alleging to dislike the medias god-king Hussein.”
You certainly imply that one is either with The Donald or with Obama.
Listening to Jindal rant on CNN Wolf, he will not support Trump when he wins the nomination.
Well, so is the high-stakes Real Estate game, with the biggest pay-to-play prices in any industry. Trump’s had to defeat scum - or get them to join him - his entire career.
No, Jindal doing this means he doesn’t care whether Trump saves the US using the real estate model - which works as well as any - he plainly views Trump as a threat, which means Trump must have some *particularly insidious* plan to lop the Uniparty off the power they’ve parasitized their way into.
Looks like hollywood told him to put more flour in his hair to make him look extinguished...errrr...distinguished.
