Donald Trump pulled no punches as he slammed Ben Carson Thursday morning for questioning his faith. But Carson won't fight back.
Instead, the retired neurosurgeon apologized for firing what the billionaire front-runner perceived as the first shot when Carson on Wednesday called the depth of the two contenders' faith "probably the biggest" difference between them.
"I would like to say to him that the intention was not to talk to him, but about what motivates me," Carson told The Washington Post. "If he took that as a personal attack on him, I apologize, it was certainly not the intent."
Trump hours earlier called in to CNN's "New Day" and laid into his rival, calling Carson -- the first surgeon to separate conjoined twins joined at the head -- just an "OK doctor" and said "you look at his faith and I think you're not going to find so much."
Trump also called Carson's views on abortion "horrendous." Carson is staunchly opposed to abortion now, but was an abortion rights supporter when he was younger and performed medical research on aborted fetuses in 1992.

I don’t question Dr. Carson’s personal relationship with Jesus. However, to belong to a group that believes they are the only “TRUE” Christians is not a humble position.

“All I’m saying is that you are the front-runner,” Cuomo said. “You say that you’re going to be president of the United States. There is a manner of behavior that goes with that. I’m not saying be Mr. P.C., I’m not saying be Captain Gentility and let everybody beat you up, but the idea of returning a blow every time you receive one, you know that doesn’t work in any high level situation.”

What does that have to do with anything?
I get that it’s awkward facing the fact that the candidate with the most past liberal stances is attacking someone else for past liberalism.
Methinks someone close to Carson whispered into his hear to remind him that attacking Trump is not in his interest.
Dr. Carson’s got some learning to do, but he’s a smart man.
Maybe this little foray was an attempt to see just how outrageous Trump would get?
I’d say that his saying of Dr. Carson: “He was a doctor, perhaps, you know, an OK doctor, by the way — [you] should check that out, too,” sounds like the blithering of an idiot. Perhaps an OK doctor...but check it out? What, like Dr. Carson has faked his credentials or something?
People can continue supporting this narcissistic blabbermouth who says whatever is on his mind (Look at that face!), but GOP voters as a whole are not going to nominate him, no matter how badly the Dems and the MSM want us to do so.
If Trump were actually a threat to the Dems and the MSM, the news of that confrontation would center totally on Trump’s abortion comments with them playing clips of Trump’s abortions statements all day long, all week long. But the MSM loves the fact that Trump is messing with the GOP, so they’re going to continue encouraging it.
And if you get 24/7 essentially uncritical news coverage from the MSM you ARE going to be polling well. What’s amazing is that Dr. Carson has risen so far in the polls without the help of the MSM. It’s just been a quiet, steady, rise, and that’s worth watching because something is going on there.
Trump was for partial birth abortion, Trump was for the assault weapons ban, and Trump is now proposing amnesty for at least 6 million illegal aliens. I matched you one for one.
This will soon be forgotten when Trump reads Jindal’s comments today.

Carson is a Seventh Day Adventist, many main line Christians consider it a cult.
I was wondering if Carson is a vegetarian, being that his denomination promotes it. I found he is a vegetarian, and stated he hopes there comes a time when most Americans do not see the need to eat red meat.

Abby Johnson was the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic. She was Planned Parenthood’s “employee of the year” and shared the stage with Hillary Clinton. Maybe it was when Hillary won the Margaret Sanger award. I really don’t know.
But the point is, she was in that demonic place deep. And she got out. She got out and she turned her life around. She turned it over to Christ. She became pro life to where now she participates in 40 days for life and has become 100% committed on the right side of this war.
We’re all supposed to believe that Donald Trump has evolved from basically every liberal position he’s ever had. I don’t believe that, but some do and it’s pretty obvious words from me or anyone probably won’t change their mind.
But are we also supposed to believe he’s the only one ALLOWED or ABLE to “evolve”?
He’s being a hypocrite, plain and simple. But as always, those who support him will defend, rationalize, deflect, you name it.
