Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said that while it was too bad Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis was put in jail over her refusal to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples, people have to abide by the Supreme Court's ruling on the matter.
"Well, you know, she was released and that was good, and it was too bad that she had to be put in jail, and I'm a very, very strong believer in Christianity and religion, but I will say that this was not the right job for her," Mr. Trump said on Tuesday evening's "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News. ...
"Because we had a ruling from the Supreme Court and we are a country of laws and you have to do what the Supreme Court ultimately, whether you like the decision or not, and it was a 5-4 decision, whether you like the decision or not, you have to go along with the Supreme Court" Mr. Trump said. I KNOW that the deputies have been signing them off while she was away, That’s the point I’m trying to ask — DOES SHE HAVE HER NAME/TITLE ON THE FORM?

The way I understand it, the form has to have HER NAME, as THE elected County Clerk for it to be legal.
*THAT* has been her contention. She does not want her name on the form and it’s looking like, IT IS THERE, even when the Deputies sign off.

He (her lawyer ) said his client would be willing to issue licenses if her name and title were not on them.
ALSO, IT SAYS FROM THE ABOVE LINK:
The state legislature could pass a law removing the clerks’ names from the licenses, but it won’t be in session until January.
(As I said before, they don’t have to wait for the legislature to convene, an impasse situation like this can be resolved by an EXECUTIVE ORDER from the governor’s office ).
Now, if all Kim Davis wanted was to showboat, why is she making this proposal? Is it bogus?

I personally believe that if HER NAME is taken off the marriage licenses issued to gay couples, she will not make an issue out of it.
That’s all there is to it.
Right, so after her election the job drescription changed due to the Court. I don’t agree with gay marriage but if part of her job has become an obamination to her faith she should probably step down.
Yes that excludes Christians from certain political offices under these circumstances; but until laws are changed by another Court outside of objecting, praying and respectfully protesting what else is there to do?
At most if she was elected, job changed and she’s offended unable to go on she at most might look for the remainder of her pay like she was still working and step down.

Where in the constitution does it tell us that Courts have the authority to change or even make laws?
THAT IS THE JOB OF THE LEGISLATURE.
I am at a point now where I can't see a distinction between them. What we are facing now is "Nazism" with a different face.

LOL, Pennsatucky. I watched the first 2 1/3 seasons, but like the guard who knocked up the prisoner, I kind of reached the end of the line with that whole crew and had to run away and never come back. Theme song is a classic, perfect for that show.
..for those conservatives attacking Kim Davis about her background, I wonder if they would do the same to
Norma McCorvey—both have rough backgrounds-———and are right to stand up to darkness...
