I'm a Cruz fan and don't see how Trump kicking the crap out of our common foe does us any harm. Let him have at it.

That birther comment is old news. Long before Trump entered the race formally. And the two have had FIVE closed door meetings since then.
And now Cruz has invited Trump to join his anti-Iran-deal rally.

It’s an insurgency for control of the party. Cruz says he is off the GOPe reservation, and Palin has been forced out for all intents and purposes.
Trump isn’t a pure conservative, but even Ted Cruz isn’t perfect, as a couple of key votes on trade authority and the Corker abomination show.
This isn’t all about Trump. It’s got to become a movement or it’s meaningless. There will be room and a need for reformed sinners and converts, not just Saints.
Nor did I assert that he was.
The author of the meme (and I) are merely suggesting that you look beyond the obvious flaws and see if there's anything he can do that's extraordinary.
I think he's demonstrating that there is - just about every day.
He's publicly spanking some folks who desperately need to be publicly spanked. And in doing so, he's making it a lot easier for our man, Ted Cruz.

Yes, it's sort of early in the game, but this is a completely different electoral season than I have ever seen and I've been closely watching this stuff since childhood.
I wish that Cruz would catch fire, but he has been "Palinized" by the MSM and the GOP-E for so long, that to change people's minds now, is difficult for him to do; I fear.
I know Cruz isn't perfect and have acknowledged that. But he is the most conservative candidate in the race. Certainly far more so than Donald Trump.
