Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

I agree with the worry on Supreme Court Justices... I think he could get Mexico to pay for the wall through tariffs or some other way..
Probably not if he is himself for Syrian refugees coming to the U.S.
Thank you...
Oh come on Mr Apple. Go back and read the original post, and then re-read the last one. You can’t fault me for not being able to make any sense out of the first post, or even see a remote connection between the two posts. But I do appreciate your efforts, it made me smile.
Let's let it rest. We're not going to convince each other. Instead, let's learn from future developments.
Having ICE do their job does not demand anything from congress. It is just having them enforce existing law.
Don't you think that those who are elected in 2016 will understand what the people demand from them IF Trump wins the presidency? His main points: immigration/deportation, common core, get rid of obamacare are things that a majority of the voters want and if congress votes against Trump he will call them on it publicly. Won't sit well with the voters in 2018 and we know that every congress critter goes in office thinking of their reelection.
I do think he will be able to get it done.
Yes. This video is definitely an eye opener. Especially after Cruz voted for the TPP/TPA.
“One year ago is not today.”
Thanks for responding. If you have been following the situation though, the refugees that have come over so far(from last year to today) have almost all been Muslims. So no, they were not displaced Christians, and no, Cruz has not made such distinctions. It is the same crisis, and the same refugees. This is his position.
Thinking we might need to start a new thread since the Cruzers are ignoring his own stance on the subject.
Then there are those that criticize Trump on a position very similar to the one that their candidate has.
Then have fun voting for someone else! Trump wIll win whether you like it or not.
He has already said that he would appoint an Alito, not a Roberts.
Your opinion... if you don’t like Trump, you’ll find all kinds of fault and pickadillos... I find him refreshing and gives us some hope there is someone who can take the cartel down.
You won’t find a perfect one out there... and not a one of the rest can stand up to what has been running our country/government.
If you posted the entire Trump statement in your post #1, then I would respect you as being honest. Breitbart article had the honesty to publish the entire Trump statement:
So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes. But we have so many problems of our own. We have border problems that are big league that I exposed. I think if I didnt expose them, I dont think youd be talking about them right now. I mean, its become a very big subject of debate. And its not so much debate. People now realize I was right when I made that initial statement, and by the way, took a lot of heat for about a two week period, until people realized what was going on. But we have our own problems. We have so many problems to solve. Our country is broken. Our we owe now you know Ive been saying 18 trillion, we now owe $19 trillion. Its going to go up very rapidly from this point forward. You know that 18 stayed there for a long time. But now if you look at the numbers and the balance sheets, its going to go up very rapidly. Were at $19 trillion. Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country. Now, Europe is handling it. Germany has been very generous so far, which is very surprising to me, to be honest with you. But theres a huge problem, and we should help as much as possible, but we do have to fix our own country.
It's called an excerpt, and it's required at FR.
You really should quit while you are behind.
You don’t have to excerpt a candidate’s quotes.
I am NOT talking about the excerpt.
You could have included Trump’s entire statement in YOUR post #1, as I just did and am doing it again.

Had I known that I would have included the entire quote. I wasn't trying to hide it, all anyone had to do to see it was click on the link to the article. Yet so many here act as though that was unavailable to them had someone not posted it. Strange.
