Trump in front! The Donald leads Hillary Clinton in dramatic new poll giving him 45% to the Democrat frontrunner's 40%

The Donald's major flaps regarding harsh comments directed at women and minorities haven't hurt his poll numbers Hillary Clinton has lost 13 points against Trump since May as email scandal won't go away

President Donald?

A new poll is showing that GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is beating Hillary Clinton 45 percent to 40 percent.

That's a huge change from the results of the same poll in May that came in with Clinton trouncing Trump 58 percent to 30 percent.

Trump's controversial stance on immigration, his 'menstruation' comment toward Fox's Megyn Kelly, and his stumbling on foreign policy questions don't seem to have hurt the swirly-haired real estate mogul in the polls - in fact, they helped.

Clinton's email scandal only seems to have hurt her poll numbers, however.

According to SurveyUSA, Trump also leads the pack of other presidential potentials.

The reality star billionaire beats out Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) by 44 percent to 40 percent and Vice President Joe Biden (who has not declared his candidacy) by 44 percent to 42 percent.

He also beats former Vice President Al Gore, who won the popular vote in 2000 and has not thrown his hat in the ring, by 44 percent to 41 percent.

Thirty percent of the 900 registered voters polled think that Trump will be the Republican nominee, with 20 percent giving it to Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

The definition of conservative is subjective. It isn’t conservative to want to issue 500% H-!B visas, nor is it conservative to vote for TPA. Ted is conservative in his Christian beliefs, which is admirable, however, Congress won’t work with him - Trump has a better chance of pushing Congress to get his agenda passed - they don’t call it the bully pulpit for nothing.

I am seeing the same thing.
“Normal Democrats” are abandoning Hillary/Obama for people they can trust.

They needn't worry, they've already told us Trump is just a stalking horse for Hillary.

Dude, try to keep up. That theory is old news. Their latest theory is that Trump is a flaming liberal (in disguise) who wants the presidency for himself...so he can do evil things. Of course, they have no explanation as to why Cruz and Palin are so cozy with this flaming liberal.

Trump/Cruz 2016

What you mentioned about Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin being so cozy with Trump is why I have not taken the anti-Trumpers on this board that seriously.

As much as I like my fellow Freepers, I trust Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin more than the anonymous anti-Trump people who post here.

Don't get me wrong, they have a right to state their opinion. But Donald Trump is okay with Ted and Sarah, who are obviously positioning themselves to be part of his administration, then Donald Trump is okay with me. And the more I learn about Donald Trump (past the tabloids and headlines), the more I like him.

Also, remember that Ted Cruz is only 44 years old. In my opinion, that's a little young to be president. I'm thinking Cruz will be a more effective president after a few more years of experience behind him.

I know, but it's just so outlandish I can't help myself.

Thanks. He and I get along good. We’ve socialized with co-workers many times outside of work and at his house. I’ve been zinging him for 15 years on politics. I told him yesterday, “the light is finally coming on in your head”. He does like Trump and would not vote for Hillary in a matchup. As for Trump v anyone else, I dunno.

I can almost hear the squeak of damp, tortured fabric as the panties twist another turn in the crotches of the Left, the NRC, the GOPe, and a number of FReepers....

GO CRUZ!!! Keep it up Trump!

LOL, I understand that. And I am waiting with bated breath for their next anti-Trump theory. Perhaps it will involve some combination of Putin, UFOs, and the Illuminati.

I am very pro-Trump. His past is checkered, to be sure. But he is making friends with all the right people (Cruz, Palin, etc.). And MORE IMPORTANTLY, he is making enemies of all the right people (Boehner, McConnell, etc.).

Let’s all remember this is 14 months before the election.

You bet, lots of time before the election. Some of the embedded politicians will be getting new haircuts to fight the evil outsider. Some have started raving in Spanish, while others pay illegals to bang on drums in front of Trump Tower and the leftist talk show host will come up with new clever quips!

Real hard hitting stuff. Lots of time left for this kind of thing.

Yes but that cannot possibly be true because Bill Kristol, George Will, Jonah Goldberg, Kraut et al are saying Trump is just a summer fling and is going to fizzle out any minute as will Ben Carson. :-)

Trump has already won. Some are still in denial. He will get a lot of Reagan Dem votes.

Good point...who knows the GOPe *may* try to get rid of trump by backing a conservative candidate for once. Now that would cause some fireworks.

I can imagine the Democrats and GOPe teaming up against a President Trump. Then Trump just doing everything by executive order just like Obama did. That would make some good entertainment.

At this point...the nation is toast so I’m going to vote for entertainment in my politics.
