The more I look around, the less I’m interested in anything involving the political process. In this, I’m not alone. A 2014 article by Michael Snyder entitled “12 Numbers Which Prove That Americans Are Sick And Tired Of Politics As Usual,” he notes: “The American people are increasingly waking up to the fact that nothing ever seems to change in Washington, D.C., no matter which political party is in power. In fact, as you will see later on in this article, an all-time high 53 percent of all Americans believe that neither party ‘represents the American people.’”.....

I hate politics too but if I don’t get involved and swat the hand they just try to dig deeper into our pockets
I hate it too, but what bothers me is my recall of that recent inquiry/report about Tea-party/conservative organizations and the $/candidate/overhead spending.
CFG was one of the best, IMO and I thought at the time it was good. But now seeing they’re going after the leader instead of Bush, I’m pissed, actually. Bush is the enemy here, don’t let anyone tell you differently.

I long ago gave up watching political shows such as Hannity, O’Reilly etc., etc. Boring!!! Its all crap.
Wrong! In the past 8 years, a lot has changed. Our health care system has been ruined. Our military is being decimated. The gains made in Iraq and Afghanistan have been severely set back with the rise of ISIS. We have the most people NOT working ever. We have the most people getting food stamps ever. Our border is a sieve and nothing is being done about it at the federal level. There have been criminal acts perpetrated by the IRS which go unpunished. Where is justice for those killed in Benghazi and accountability for the lies and deceit afterward? Obama is on the verge of inking a deal with Iran which would lead to them having nukes.
If anyone really thinks that under a McCain or a Romney tenure, all the above would have occurred, they need their heads examined.
That's only true if you are a conservative. The country has tilted far left in the last 40 years and in the last seven its flirtation with communism is downright scary. The unelected fourth branch of regulators are strangling the country and they are enabled to an unprecedented degree by Democrats. All the while the Republicans, with strong majorities in both houses of Congress, stand idly by, shrug their shoulders, meekly say "What can we do?," and promise to do more if only we could do this or win that. The numerous federal courts have overruled the people scores of times to ram homos down our throats against our will, the Supreme Court makes homo "marriage" legal, and leftists are using the federal government to imprison Christians.
The author is a complete and utter idiot when she says "nothing ever seems to change." The seas have tossed our national ship on the rocks and it is being battered apart by the unrelenting storm.
True——but we are going at it wrong—putting bandaids on oozing, infected sores. We need to change the “system” of socialization/collectivization-—get RID of the Leviathan which traps the young and forces Marxism—they are destroyed if they try to “escape”.
We need to eliminate the elites control (mass marketing of ideas) over the minds of the masses (”education” and textbook and MSM monopoly)-—and get rid of IRS and the “progressive tax” and rid of all the bureaucrats that create all the irrational, evil “rules and regulations” for this socialist, unconstitutional system of mass slavery.
There has to be a severe penalty for lying on “news” programs and in text books. Lies are the norm now in both so children are so ignorant they actually are incapable of critical thinking. (It is Mind Control.
We have Rule of Law (Higher Law/God’s Law) in America-—NOT Rule of Man, which is what we have now.
Legal system has to literally go back to pre-Wilson and dump all the Socialized systems and lobbyism (bribery system). Without Just Laws we are destroyed (Cicero).
We have a Vice System, now......which is unconstitutional. There is no bandaid that can “fix” the system. It has to be EJECTED only. Parents literally let the socialist sodomites raise their children so they remain ignorant “happy slaves” of the system.
No Just Law (Justice is the Queen of Virtue) can promote slavery/(welfare) or theft, or sodomy, killing babies, (muslim ethics) etc. As Justice Marshall stated ALL unjust law is “null and void” and it is the DUTY of all people to disobey unjust “law”.
Just about every one of those things would have occurred. ObamaCare was modeled after RomneyCare. John McCain is an unhinged, dangerous man. The administration of George W. Bush was an absolute disaster, with massive growth of unfunded entitlements (see Medicare prescription drugs) coupled with two major military campaigns that cost this country more than a trillion dollars and could never be justified in terms of the cost in dollars and lives. As a U.S. Senator John McCain was not only on board with all of that: he was a staunch advocate for all of it. Bush, Romney and McCain are all passionate advocates of an open-borders policy.
I don't think I need to have my head examined.
Anyone who thinks voting every two years can reverse the rot and restore freedom needs their head examined.
Certainly not when it has taken some 50+ years to totally screw it up.
Politics is an annoyance not to be bothered with until the day they pull you out to a ditch and shoot you in the head for your beliefs.
Depends on whether they all serve the same master doesn't it?
