Is this from the Onion?
Do these guys ever get outside of the beltway except to go on vacation?
Well, Cantor is not exactly conservative, Bush is not exactly conservative. Sounds like a good match for the two of them.
"...for the Jebster, just another foot to jam in his overloaded mouth"
I used the exact phrase on another thread earlier this morning, and I demand attribution!!! Lol
Useless complicit EXEMPT RINO:
"We in the GOP will micturate down the throats of my most conservative voters
and sic the IRS on them ... for you, My Master, My Caliph, My beloved King."
Not to pile on too much about Cantor’s primary loss, but, you wonder about the political instincts of someone who suffered a major primary election upset. Did he take his seat for granted? Did he think he didn’t have to worry about a primary election???
They make the perfect couple.
Well, that should be the Kiss of Death.
OAN reported that Rubio also sought Cantor’s endorsement(i.e. party connections and money).
typical RINO loser. Know them by their stripes.
This should REALLY get conservatives excited about Bush....

Wow. No kidding??
He ignored his constituents. He was on the wrong side of the immigration issue from his constituents. He was arrogant and snotty and tried a few political tricks during the course of the primary which backfired. Cantor also had his eye on being Speaker which alarmed anyone who is truly conservative. His opponent, Dave Brat, is an economics professor, sharp guy, very down to earth. He was meeting with “the people” (not the establishment elites) in homes and small gatherings. He is a great communicator & can boil it down to what people need to know. Cantor figured ‘no way’ this guy would beat him and got complacent. If you read accounts of what happened when the voting results came in & tweets started hitting the Capitol as it became obvious Cantor was going to lose, it’s very interesting. It shook the RINOs up pretty badly - they’re still not over it. It gave ‘we the little people’ hope that change for the better CAN happen, even in this screwed up political environment. People are STILL smiling when they think of defeating Cantor around here - he is going to be a huge mill stone around Jeb’s neck .... the kiss of death is a good description.
Yes and Yes. Cantor developed a bad case of Beltway Disease, and (I was told by locals) rarely showed up in his district except for high-end fundraisers. Cantor got beat by a relatively unknown economics professor, despite outspending his opponent 40 to 1. Brat had endorsements from Laura Ingraham and Mark Stein, and hit Cantor hard on amnesty and Washington cronyism.
More ... some of the reasons (includes Cantor’s little slating trick that backfired - he was booed off the stage) - this will give you a sense of just how unpopular Cantor is:

BTW - During his losing campaign, Cantor raised $5.7 million, Brat $231K. Heh, heh. Jeb won’t get votes around here based on any dollars Cantor can raise for him.
...or more likely, indifferent.
Indifferent that The Base is sick & tired of career politicians and their GOPe supporters.
.....And running a LOSING campaign.
