by Tas Walker

Many doubt the biblical story of Noahs Flood. To many the story seems a gross exaggeration or a work of fiction. And if Noahs Flood is not believable, why trust any historical account in the Bible? People have posed many objections to a factual interpretation of this event and this article (and the articles linked to it) answers many of the key questions people have about the Flood and the Ark.

Fact
Noah built a boat, Trump will build a wall.
Yes, Fact.
That’s what I was gonna say.

God destroyed the “world’ with the flood. Not the “planet”.
why trust any historical account in the Bible?
Because most of the historical accounts in scripture do not deal with pre-historic events.
Plus everywhere you go, when you look at any plaque about the place’s geology, you read it was covered with water. When you understand this fact, you start to realize how the Grand Canyon could have formed very quickly.
Post of the day!!!
Fact.
Fiction.
If the entire planet was flooded, then nothing could have lived and the survivors would have to have inbred with each other to repopulate.
I’ll choose satire. Pre-history would probably be some time before God uttered the word “let.”
It’s called plate tectonics.
Ummmmmm.....
If God only destroyed “the world”, why didn’t He just tell Noah to walk out of the valley????
If the “planet” were NOT covered with water, then why are there sedimentary deposits, tens of meters thick, covering hundreds of miles in all four compass directions?
Which is what they did. Plants’ seeds survived.
I understand the concept.
I don’t accept the explanation.
God destroyed the “world” with the flood. Trump will save America with the “Wall”. :-)

John is a geophysicist, used to work at Los Alamos, and he wrote a 3D finite element code to calculate plate tectonics.
Noah spent 120 years building the ark to escape a flood. Do you think in 120 years he could have found a safe place without needing a boat?
