Former intelligence and military officials were swift to reply Friday to Hillary Clintons contention that government over-classification of materials are the real problem, not her use of an unsecured private email server to conduct official business during her four years as secretary of state.
Our ridiculous classification rules are the real problem, she tweeted this morning, quoting a former Justice Department official.
Senior military and intelligence officials immediately fired back.
Its not up to her to decide what level its classified at. Its up to her to obey the law, and clearly she did not, Lt. Col. Col James Williamson told The Daily Caller News Foundation. Williamson entered Special Forces in 1988 and retired in 2012.
If someone doesnt have the sense to recognize classified material, they shouldnt be in such a sensitive position, much less the secretary of state, Williamson said.

And, I might add - she shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office either.
Actually, that snarky remark about the screwy classification system, was reportedly from an Intellegence officer, and the Clinton campaign latched onto it like flies on “flowers”, and got it out there whipping it to death. It’s their only defense. LOL!
Yeah, Hillary! Right on!
Like those satellite and missile secrets you and Bill sold the ChiComs back in the 90’s. Totally should have been open source, not top secret.
Dumbass security types, always messing up your good times and money making opportunities.
Keep digging that hole deeper Hillary.
Hillary reminds me of that perp.
The blowback demonstrates clearly demonstrates that whatever happens will be out of the hands of politicians. There are 25+ year people in there who have no political allegiance and can’t be fired, and who will put extraordinary pressure for action to be taken on this - or, this is only an incredibly tiny warning shot compared to what will go out to the press if this is ignored.
So why is she not arrested yet?
MI/SOCOM Ping
President Obama also gets to decide which rules / laws are ridiculous, and he’s been getting away with it so far.
Can’t wait for some light shining on his closet.
“I didn’t send any classified emails.”
“The emails weren’t marked classified.”
“Too many things are classified.”
“It depends on the meaning of ‘classified.’”
These career military and Intel officers hate her even more now.
I didn’t think that was possible.
O.M.G! Hillary’s excuse for violating the security of the nation is: “It’s those damn US and Federal laws!”
And she really wants to be president?
I can see it now. Hillary: “That damn Constitution and Bill if Rights is what’s wrong with this country, abolish them now!”
"When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly.... [However, now] there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there's too much freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it." - President Bill Clinton, 3-22-94, MTV's "Enough is Enough"
As I recall, she didn’t mind overclassifying her Hillarycare meetings and documents.
So what was the real problem for Petraeus and what standard should apply to Her High Holy Cankleness?
Actually she is right. We do over classify. But that beats under classifying. It could in the perfect liberal world that Hillary envisions this wouldn’t be a problem since classifying documents would be a perfected science. But in the one we actually live in we have no such tool.
I vote for sticking with over-classifying.
This bitch is arrogant to the core. She and Huma giving a hard time to the FBI and then Tweeting out against the masses. Special place in Hell for her.
Somebody has their saggy old teat caught in the wringer and it hurts
