DERRY, N.H. What was once flippantly deemed the Summer of Trump has evolved into something much bigger: a singular moment in American political and cultural history.
(snip)
Trumps candidacy will be a moment that todays voters will have to explain to their grandchildren.
What is happening with Trump is not a fluke, said Harvard government and sociology professor Theda Skocpol, author of The Tea Party and the Remaking of Republican Conservatism. Yes, he is a great entertainer, but he is able to take advantage of a number of dynamics in American politics as they exist right now. This is an important moment.
Trump is the personification of a 21st century America fascinated by the super rich and obsessed with celebrity, political historians said in interviews.
In politics, his assets provide massive available financing in a national race where money plays an unprecedented role. A hyper-fast media environment means Trumps candid comments and jaw-dropping insults, such as his jab at US Senator John McCains respected military service, permeate Facebook feeds, quickly making him the most-discussed candidate in the field, according to social media analytics.

We are all praying that it’s a successful and peaceful revolution. Back to freedom, back to the moon.
That is bold - Don't Mess with Trump !!!
He doesn't need the job of POTUS to make him rich, like the Clinton's and Hussein Obama has done...
I love it...make them sweat Donald Trump...and clean up the mess the clintons and hussein created...in fact lets celebrate when Hillary gets a GRAND JURY after her...she owns it and deserves it..
LET'S ROLL FOLKS...WE NEED A REAL CHANGE...
The phrase, 'no holds barred', comes from wrestling, where certain types of holds were barred by the rules of the sport. No holds barred is essentially, 'anything goes'.
He hugged the flag at the event in NH. never saw that before in a human being. check the video. He reminds me of a cross between kermit the frog and joe pesci as leo getz in the lethal weapon movies.. ok ok
Boston Globe. That’s the first tipoff. As I read his stuff, it slowly crept into my psyche that I’d read it all before.
All this dude has done is to scan about the past 30 days worth of publications, with columns by some wizards of smart, giving THEIR take on Trump, and their prognostications as the imminence of his crashing and burning. He has sifted through it, ripping out a phrase here, and an observation there, and an opinion or two on the side; rephrased them a bit, and cobbled them together into a piece, and is passing them off as his own sagacious jewels of wisdom. IMHO.
Pass!
The media is at war with Trump. He won’t fight on their turf. He won’t accept the PC language they want to engage with; He’s going to call Anchor Babies, Anchor Babies, and illegals, illegals (not undocumented).
I saw that !!! I can't remember the last time I wanted to listen to a politician speak - they never answer the questions. But Trump tells it like it is.

thx i think of it as there are no bars on the hold in the ship so everything is flying about. but yours works for me.
Yep. The elites are always the last people to understand what’s going on in the world, but the first to try and explain it all to the rest of us.
Trump rally at NH High School ...
uh oh
Fortunately for the Washington elite Trump showed up when the majority of the country was a hair’s width from revolution. He’s convinced many to give the ballot box one more chance.
The phrase 'Vale Tudo' is what they call it in Brazil, 'Anything Goes'
It’s a WRESTLING term, and refers to a free for all where anything goes. No Holds Are Barred. Biting, kicking, and any hold one could imagine is permitted. Something on the order of cage fighting nowadays.
I was 17 in 1980 I remember how bad I wanted to vote for Ronald Reagan. I know how these kids feel.
They are looking for a reason to be optimistic.
I’ll second that. I like Trump in spite of his celebrity, wealth, and brash New York boasting, not because of it.
Picture at the link, nice. I counted 4 body guards. 2 black and two white and one looking seniorish. As for the front right? Khakis? Like really?
I’ll make up something really sappy here. Trump walking down that hallway reminds me of William Holden as Pike Bishop in Sam Peckinpah’s “Wild Bunch”.
They don’t get it because they’re too farking stupid and dedicated to American’s decline
Are you capable of using proper grammar and spelling? WTF are you saying, here?
