NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) Rosie ODonnells daughter has been reported missing.
Chelsea ODonnell, 17, was last seen Tuesday, Aug. 11, the actress and comedian said in a message on her website.
Police in Nyack have been searching for her in Rockland County since Sunday.
Were turning over stones as best we can, calling friends, contacts that she may have, trying to follow social media if possible, said Sgt. Daniel Wilson, with South Nyack Police.

Today is your lucky day.
Rosie O’Donnell sadly is learning the hard way that she was much too tough on her father. (They have been estranged for decades.) Being a parent is very difficult and she’s judged her father harshly, despite the fact that he was left to raise five young children when his wife died. Rosie’s always criticized him...and know she’s finding out how it feels to struggle when trying to help a troubled child of your own.
Over thirty years ago my cousin ran away from her alcoholic mother and abusive father, and we have always known that her brother has known where she was all the time. I bet her brother and her are in contact also.
Perhaps Rosie tried to eat her.
Maybe Chelsea went to visit grandpa especially if her 18th birthday is soon and she gets to choose with whom she lives.
Maybe, the poor kid was normal, and to Rosie the crazy, that was mentally ill. So, she doped her.
Can you imagine the perpetual tirade Rosie has been having since the Donald used her as the butt of his joke in the debate?
Maybe, she ran away for some peace?
You know what? I am actually going to do something a little bit different here. I’ll pray for the girl, but I am going to pray for Rosie as well. Maybe she will see the whole life she leads just isn’t working.
Chelsea turns 18 Sept 20th. I bet she’s planning to move out permanently.
RO just said on Twitter girl is in police custody.
Bummer.
I’ve read elsewhere that this troubled teen told her bio-mom in Wisconsin that she wanted to come out there to see her. Something’s wrong here.
I suspect Chelsea’s never met her grandfather and has heard only negative things about him. RO’D’s been shooting her mouth off for years about how “emotionally distant” her father was when she was growing up. Gee, an American heterosexual man being emotionally reserved? That used to be called “normal” — frustrating at times, perhaps, but typical of most fathers. Meanwhile, RO’D’s father’s wife died and he raised five kids on his own. Does RO’D give him credit for anything? Not that she’s ever let on publicly. Anyway, she probably regrets that, now that she’s having trouble with one of her own children.
She’ll be safer in custody than in the hands of that bitter hag.
I believe her bro is at the Citadel. I’m sure he has plenty of buds that will help her stay hidden...throw away cell phones etc...They’ll keep her safe from Mamma Gestapo.
Good for you. Rosie O’Donnell is a tragic figure. She was warped when she was ten years old and lost her mother. She has a good heart, but she’s utterly lost psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually.
If I wound up with the misfortune to be raised by O’Donnell, I’d join the Amish as soon as I was old enough to get away from her. I wouldn’t want anything to do with the sick sad place that is O’Donnell’s world.
My father was, too.....AND an alcoholic. Didn’t turn ME gay.
Posted my concerns on ALL the other threads. Hoping she has found a “safe place”. Other threads have identifying pictures and articles. You may want to check them out
You readily should learn how to check other people post before being critical
FR does have a search tab for that.
Have a nice evening.
(I am not praying that Rosy finds her if she has left because of abuse as many on other threads have suggested. Just that she has found a safe place until she turns 18. )
