From the Tuesday Morning Jolt:
CNN Poll: Trump Still Leads, Christie Out of Top Ten
A new poll from CNN this morning:
The survey finds Trump with the support of 24% of Republican registered voters. His nearest competitor, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, stands 11 points behind at 13%. Just behind Bush, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson has 9%, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker 8%,Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul 6%, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former tech CEO Carly Fiorina and Ohio Gov. John Kasich all land at 5%, with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee rounding out the top 10 at 4%.
Notice whos not in the top ten.
Jim Gilmore remains an asterisk, making it increasingly likely he will not be invited to the debate at the Reagan Library. The threshold is one percent. Ominously for Bobby Jindal, hes at asterisk status right now, too.
Logan Dobson points out that independents that lean Republican arent the same as registered Republicans, and that CNNs article mixes the two.
Deep in the CNN poll, we find Donald Trump has a 31 percent approval rating among all women, 65 percent disapproval.
Stay Puft already was reelected back in 2013. He has no place to go when his term ends in January 2018.
Almost everyone except Trump is within the margin of error of each other.
It doesn’t appear that weekend polls are as accurate:

So CNN can’t hide trumps support, but they have Jeb higher than any other currencies went poll and Cruz lower.
??
Not by weight
I heard a difference in this poll by CNN vs. the Fox poll is:
Fox polled registered Republicans.
CNN polled registered Republicans and independents leaning Republican.
Slight difference.
He’s been around 5% pretty consistently. Maybe after Huck and LA Raza drop out...
I’m very concerned that Cruz cannot poll above Walker for God’s sake. I don’t get it. I would like to see him and Trump top two but I don’t think its going to happen.
“I dont believe Bush is at 13%.”
I don’t believe it either! There is something wrong with this poll!
Different sampling means different results. Trump is clearly the frontrunner, but I don’t have any confidence in this poll after that. It seems they’re cooking the books to give the establishment candidates a lift.
Fox News as much as said their poll from the other day is trash. They are touting the CNN poll all day on Fox because I guess it has Bush in second with Cruz quite back
Fox poll was good for Cruz and Carson but bad for Bush. In all their discussions I watched, they never once said...btw our poll has Cruz doing very well but CNN not so much
