While most of the permanent political class is still aghast that 2016 GOP presidential frontrunner billionaire Donald Trump put together one of most specific, pro-American worker immigration plans of anyone running for public office, hes winning widespread praise from key experts on the issue.

Career politicians are not used to candidates who actually do what they talk about. Somebody has to get a memo to Trump that this is not how it’s supposed to work in Washington.
Well Mr. Trump is slapping the “face” of offical Washington.
Then there is the hat...... the first addition was white because...... good guys wear white hats.
He changed the hat prop to red because although good guys do in fact wear white hats, an important purpose for the hat is to project the massage that we must “ Make America Great Again” The black letters on white were not as obvious as the white letters on a red hat.
The man is flexible and listens to his staff
I’m a pretty big critic of Trump’s and I like his plan. It’s pretty close to what I would do. My only concern is whether he’d actually follow through or have another political change of heart once elected.
Ideological fantasists have had their run. Liberals gave the country a roofie and had their way with us, now it’s time to wake up from our coma and set things right.
Are you confident that your candidate will do what he promises once elected? It’s a crap shoot, but, from what I know about Trump - he gets things done and I don’t think he wants to let the American people down. I think this is a promise he will strive to keep at all costs. He doesn’t need this job - he’s financially comfortable and could retire if he wants. He chooses to live his latter years giving back to the country he loves and has been good to him.
Trump hates to fail ...
Unlike the GOPe, who has brought the Art of Failing to new politically correct heights.
of all the candidates running there are ten billion reasons to suspect he usually follows through when he sets out to do something.. he may g=not get 100% of what he wants but he’ll probably get further than anyone else on the matter
The biggest deal here is it puts the rest of the GOP field in heap big trouble.
Most of these sons of bitches were talking Pathway to Citizenship a week ago.
Now they have to come out for or against Trumps position.
The rubber has met the road.
If Trump keeps surrounding himself with solid Republicans, like Sessions, then i don’t see the problem?
“Now they have to come out for or against Trumps position.”
Conventional wisdom says your statement is correct. But I don’t think this will happen unless Trump personally challenges each an everyone of them. Many are just too whimpy to stand up and be honest. I’m thinking of master RINO Hoeven of ND who co sponsored a bill with Corker that would have eventually led to citizen status of all illegals. RINO’s like this jackass will just lay low until called out.
My previous post referred to the entire GOP establishment, not just those in the race.
PING
You have to watch his whole outfit.
I think that’s the nicest thing I’ve ever heard you say about Donald Trump!
I’m in the same boat, but no one can deny that the man is an achiever. It’s hard not to want to support the guy. Liberal heads are just popping off when they hear this stuff... If nothing else, enjoy it for the entertainment value.
By making it major part of his immigration platform, Trump is clearly raising the (H1-B) issues profile and may force other candidates to engage on it. That alone could lead to a much broader debate about the H-1B visa than ever before.
Trump has given us more than our share of red meat on immigration - a wall, deportations, pause in work permits, but based on the rumblings that I hear these days, the H1-Bs may be the SLEEPER ISSUE of the entire debate as the entire generation of tech-type millenials look at it as their top, or nearly top issue, and Trump is literally alone on getting that program under control (sadly, even Cruz has some laundry in that area).
H1-B’s could be the ONE ISSUE that breaks Trump’s support out of just our Republican clique and into the general public. As someone said yesterday, next year’s election may well result in a BLOWOUT and a political re-alignment.
This is getting very interesting.
