Fox News chairman Roger Ailes woke up Monday morning thinking that his network and Donald Trump's campaign had reached an understanding.
After a weekend's worth of stressful phone calls, the tacit agreement --- he thought --- was that Trump would stop attacking Ailes' "biggest television star," Megyn Kelly, in interviews and tweets.

I didn't see "The Five," because I rarely watch that stupid show.
The only two worth watching are Kimberly and Eric Bolling.
I switch the channel whenever Whorealdo or Juan are on, and the same applies to Alan Colmes.

Loook at it this way, If a niche site can achieve a top 1000 ranking behind only NASCAR in the motorsports division in it’s day, with only moderate funding over 15 years ago Onyx, with a bunch of starry eyed enthusiasts running it, I have to think a group of funded media pros in a campaign with hundreds of millions in cash can win an election with it today.
I use our own example with the old Off-Road.com to make a point. The point is that it CAN be done but no one will apply it fully to politics BECAUSE of the “we need TV” mindset.
To reach hundreds of millions/billions of people, did Hulu need traditional TV? Does Youtube? Does anyone that has achieved massive success? Google? Facebook?
Are pols some special creature that the rules of cyberspace do not apply to? I don’t believe they are. So they can. They just don’t.

IIRC, the Pubbie debates from 2012 ranged from around 6 million down to 3 million as the season lagged on. They did not seem to be attracting many ‘new’ viewers.
I actually liked what FNC did.
They got the candidates to speak on what many thought were their biggest weaknesses before CNN got a chance to use them.
In other words the Candidates got in front of these.
I thought it gave all the candidates strength going into the next debate.
Only some want to crucify them all because they are all supposed to slovenly follow only THEIR candidate.
FNC is still the only network ACCURATELY covering; Hillary’s E-mail, Planned Parenthood, Sanctuary Cities, The Iran Deal, etc. But I’m sure ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN will start reporting these stories as soon as we can destroy FNC.
I only see one new fact speculation from an anonymous Fox source concerning those multiple alleged begging phone calls from Ailes to Trump ...
The headline is improbable. Why? Because Ailes is head of an alleged "News" organization. Saying those words out loud in private is one thing, saying them remotely over a device that can be recorded ... never!
If released, a recording of that nature would sink the "News" president that uttered it and doom the alleged "News" network he runs. It us inconceivable that those words were ever said.
Kudos to CNN to try and stoke the flames ( more please! ) If they really want to get it right, they need to "turn" a Fox insider to spill the beans on the record. Pay them enough to disregard the NDA, and then hire them.
There is a lot to learn and Lord knows Hannity doesn't care enough to let us know. The 2008 Team Obama pow-wow leading to cover for the Natural Born Communist. The TEA Party and Glenn Beck slights. Who has influence over there specifically.
I seriously doubt it. Fox News was taking a thumping on every social media outlet, their own website and Meggie and Bret and Erick Ericson were getting flamed on FB like a tsunami. Viewership started to tank. He got on his knees to Trump. Count on it. Then had to send Megyn on a time out to the beach for ten days.
