Fox News chief Roger Ailes will report to Lachlan and James Murdoch once the leadership transition at 21st Century Fox takes affect on July 1.
After word of the brothers ascension surfaced late last week, there was immediate speculation that Ailes would continue to report to chairman Rupert Murdoch. Fox Business Network reported on June 11 that the boss would continue to have a direct line to Rupert. Ailes himself told Variety: My job is to report to Rupert, and I expect that to continue.
But on Tuesday, following the formal announcement of the brothers appointments, Fox reps confirmed that Ailes along with every other aspect of the company would report in to Lachlan and James jointly.

Between 2007-2011, Ms. Murdoch served as Director of Strategy & Communications for the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI). where she also managed CCI 's partnership with Microsoft in the development of a global greenhouse gas emissions tracking software. Before beginning to work with the Clinton Foundation, Ms. Murdoch held a variety of senior management positions in marketing, communications and business development, primarily in the fashion and online media arenas.

Wonder how long before Lachlan decides to show Ailes who is boss.
Fox is over.
That will be the end of Ailes, and Fox.
James Murdoch was the one who ordered the hit on Trump against the wishes of Ailes and it backfired.
And James Murdoch’s wife worked for the Clinton Foundation and is very close to Bill and Hillary.
Ailes will go to OAN, eventually.
Give them time
I have feeling about this since Rupert decided so called retired
Yeah I think Fox days as conservative news is over now you got alternative like One America news

Unplug Fox News. It’s just another Leftist network now.
Deadline Hollyweird forum thinking that too
Even those guys are thinking that
Can you imagine after election cycle if Donald don’t run the nod would that be something if you hear he buy into that network
That be epic
This article says the Ailes’ contract runs through next summer.
IIRC, Ailes’ signed a new contract with Rupert not too long ago.
Ailes should put an investment group together and buy CNN. The Murdock lads would soil themselves.
Ailes can go back and work for Bush campaign.
Fox has proven one thing: the demand and market for a conservative and half-way balanced news source is far greater than that for all liberal propagandist networks combined.
Go ahead, Fox - go the way of MSNBC. You’re signing your death warrant.
Someone with megabucks will come along and replace you with a truly conservative perspective......hey, maybe even the conservative movement can come together and start a network itself!!!!
Or Ailes decides to leave, to go out, on top, on his own terms, instead of having to report to these two..
It is no accident that all 3 of the Fox moderators went after TRUMP. ME GYN went after him again on women after accusing him of being a rapist. Brett tried to embarrass him and Wallace the pip squeek took a cheap shot on using bankruptcy reorganization something GM and Chysler used too.
But my question is who put them up to coordinating on Trump.
Also, who tried their best to marginalize Ted Cruz.
The shortchanged Ted on time, and when they called on him instead of asking him something about Obamacare, Energy policy, Planned Parenthood, the Iran deal or anything the GOP base likes his position on they asked him about his relationship with Jesus.’
Ted has a great family, he is all right with God. God sent him to help deal with the Washington Cartel.
That HO ME Gyn wasted our time and purposedly didn’t let Ted talk about his public issues.
I hope ME GYN ratings plunge like her neckline.
Truth is not fair and truth is not balanced.
