I think this analysis by Christine Matthews, a Republican pollster, who did survey work for former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, hits the nail on the head:
Some think Trumps latest attack on highly regarded Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly spells the end. Most likely it does not. Trumps supporters dont want his run to end. His loud, angry voice amplifies feelings they have, but dont feel are heard. That is NOT to say they are in complete agreement with what he says. He is the middle finger. He is the fist on the table. And that is what his supporters want to express to politicians right now. If hes not there, its back to politics as usual which they hate. Of course he isnt a statesman. Hes not presidential material. However, his supporters and many others have long since stopped viewing politicians as statesmen.....
These voters arent going away and theyre not looking for the things other voters are looking for a plan to govern. They are looking for disruption and thats what Trump delivers. So, regardless of what Trump says or does, these voters are going to continue to say bring it.

That also tells me then that all of his dirty laundry is already out there.
I am greatly impressed with Fiorina.
As a candidate she’s a dead woman walking.
She was a CEO. She laid people off. Likely outsourced a number of jobs. Democrats are going to use that in their ads and totally DESTROY her.
Wish I was wrong, but after watching first-hand what they did to Romney I’m afraid I’m not. And Mitt was a venture capital guy, a couple of steps removed from CEO. She actually called the shots.
Nominate Carly and go down in a flaming heap of negative ads. Ex-HP employees are already lining up to appear in them.
you “nailed” that one ... perfectly ...
Well, he has lived very publicly.
Who is choosing anything? The remark was about Trump and whether he is presidential material or not. He clearly is as are other GOP candidates. And if we needed any proof, it is the zero in the WH.
Carson would be in way over his head. Fiorina does not represent me. She has far too liberal ideas on abortion and is not a strong borders person. Cruz is all one could hope for in a President.
He has the best tax plan out there. He is the only candidate to use the word “deportation”. He has good policies to bring jobs back. I am waiting for his book, Time To Get Tough, which has been sold out. Gotta wait another week. He has detailed plans in that book for what he would do as President.
Trump is winning all categories both those with a lower and higher education...
Why not?
His personality plays a factor but is not the main reason for his success.. He is decisive and confident and tends to make pretty reasonable decisions...
May I suggest its writers try a Trump Cocktail for their delerium tremens.....3 shots of Clan Trump scotch, 2 shots of DC sour mash, two jiggers of Dr. Rand's tonic water, a dash of bitters and a sprinkle of nutmegyn. Note: for a Bloody Donald Cocktail, substitute tomato juice for the sour mash.
Serve with a pate of Smoked Crow spread thickly on Washington-Post-Is-Toast points.
Don Appetit!

LOL. works for me
Deportation, but followed by bringing the "good ones" back, whatever that means. Sounds exactly like Bush's path to citizenship except they temporarily walk into Mexico before walking right back in.
Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNNs Dana Bash that as president he would deport all undocumented immigrants and then allow the good ones to reenter the country through an expedited process and live in the U.S. legally, though not as citizens.
A lot can be done by making changes to offset the trade deficits to other countries. Also, I like the idea of placing tariffs on products coming from companies that relocate overseas, for example, Ford going to Mexico.
Tariffs aren’t conservative. They’re tax increases. I resent any government telling me I can’t buy products from overseas without paying an extra tax. The more socialist a country is, the more import taxes and tariffs they charge to their citizens.
You can find plenty of Democrats who support protectionist policies like tariffs. Those are liberal positions. They’re anti-freedom and they’re bad economics.
[Hes having way too much fun.]
Stole the words right out of Rush’s mouth

As Rush said this morning, these ladies support Donald. LOL

For bitters they can substitute a dash of Dirty Harry Reid.
The idea of imposing a tariff on Ford vehicles coming in from Mexico is to discourage the company from building its plant there in the first place. I totally agree. We need those jobs here.
Cruz’s plan actually increases my taxes and Trump’s lowers them. Trump’s 15% tax rate is substantially lower for those who are successful than what they are paying now. Plus Trump wants to lower corporate taxes to zero to stimulate job growth.
