Walker: Focus Should Be On Hillary, Not "Sideshow" Over Trump
Breitbart.com ^ | August 10, 2015 | Ian Hanchett

Wisconsin Governor and Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker argued, “it’s time to start focusing on who the real opponent is in the general election, and that’s Hillary Clinton” and that the focus on Trump is “like watching a car accident instead of focusing on the direction we should be headed. That’s a sideshow out there” on Monday’s “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel.

Yep. I will be surprised if Hillary is actually the Rat nominee. Rats just do not like her, which is why they latched onto Obama as an alternative to Hillary in 2008. I expect the same thing to happen to her again.

The focus should be on getting Jeb out of the race. With Trump in the race, almost all of the support is going to Trump, Cruz, Carson, or anyone when they espouse constitutional conservative principles.

If Trump were driven out of the race, the next target would be Cruz. A President Trump for four years would give conservatives a chance to get traction, clean the garbage out of DC, and see who develops the best leadership skills for 2020.

The “panel” said more than once...”some feel it’s a safe assumption that Hillary will be the nominee”. Say it over and over and it comes true.

He must have got a word from his sons, the Chanber of Cronies, or Reince Priebus. The focus needs to be on the GOP; the enemy behind us. Who can’t best beat Hillery/Sanders is incidental. The issue is who will beat the Washington Cartel. Walker doesn’t have the situational awareness to even know they’re the enemy.

Good answer from Walker. It’s not derogatory towards Trump, and there is truth in that statement no matter what you think of Trump or his campaign. The thing in it’s entirety is a sideshow.

Walker is the sideshow and has moved to dead last in the polls after the debate.

Trump 23
Cruz 13
Carson 11
Rubio 8
Carly 8
Bush 7
Walker 7

Yes, they are. But I think the imperative in the nomination process should be to aim more words against Jeb Bush, frankly. IMO, to target Hillary now as the presumed Democrat Heir to the Throne actually endorses her.

To hold her up as a presumed opponent gives her legitimacy and telegraphs fear of her. That would seem to me would encourage her and her supporters.

My tactic as candidate would be to ridicule, humiliate and marginalize her as corrupt, incompetent and criminal wherever possible. Just my two cents.

“...It’s not derogatory towards Trump...”

Ype, “side show” is always meant as a compliment.

Absolutely correct. At the end of the day the focus shouldn’t be about Republican primary voters. The real question is how small or how big is the percentage of those in a national poll who would “definitely” not vote for Trump. I suspect that percentage will be large. Either we focus on Ted Cruz or Hillary win. Trump shoots from the hip, he came unprepared for the debate, and his negatives are high.

Without a Florida and Ohio win, there is no way a Republican nominee will beat Hillary. Time for the Trumpbots to get a reality check, and focus on a credible candidate like Cruz or Rubio. The others like Kasich, Graham, Jindal, and Perry with seemingly little or no traction need to stop off the stage.

Did a little reading on Walker and he really looks like a Nixon in training. A nasty little piece of work who operates close to the lines and gets others to do his dirty work.

Easy target. That, and it's not a good idea to ignore your biggest competition.

Yep, I’ve done the same and come to the same conclusion—his blind ambition has led to his cutting far too many corners.
