A black delivery driver was told by his manager that he would not be making a delivery because the customer had said she only wanted a white driver in her house.
Marcus Bradley, an African American, who has worked for Lowe's Home Improvement for the last 11 years, was left devastated after his manager complied with the customer's outrageous wish.
The shocking incident reportedly happened in the city of Danville, situated in the US state of Virginia.

I agree. The people who think the customer has some right to special service were probably on the opposite side when it came to the baker and the gay wedding. Hypocrites.
Lowe’s would be sued six ways to Sunday by that driver. They should have cancelled the delivery and told the customer to come and get it or give them a refund.
Or just leave it on the porch.

If I were the manager I would have told the customer, “I’m sorry but the driver we have scheduled to make your deliver today is African-American. I’ll reschedule your delivery for when we have a driver more to your liking servicing that route.” Then stick her order on the shelf for a couple of weeks.
The manager should have said “sorry, the driver is already on the way, and I can’t reach him.” Let her tell the driver her objections when he gets there.

Still think the flaky excuse by the ex-manager is not believable. Possible other personal vendetta or something else. But one customer complained of flimsy excuse won’t cut it.

The driver was not fired or let go he just did not make that specific delivery. The manager was fired.
By some estimates, approximately 90% of all violent crime in America is perpetrated by black people.
That means for many people, just about all crime is black crime.
Could this lady have previously experienced the vibrant diversity offered by that demographic, and simply preferred not to interact with that community out of fear for her life and well being?
If so that’s her right. Rather than framing it as a horrific hate crime by a hateful, racist person, maybe the truth is she did not want to be raped and murdered.
Sorry that it’s devolved to this, but simply allowing people into your home is not safe nowadays.
You do realise that ALL applicable companies are now being compensated with YOUR tax dollars to hire the recently incarcerated?.....in the end they cost about 1/3rd of “freemans” wages...
Where I work.....illegals have health insurance....that I paid for....and cant afford.
Were I work the “recently incarcerated”...have health insurance too....and the pay is partially subsidized by.....the fed......
