Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.
Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate.
It is "highly unlikely" Trump would appear at 9 p.m. with host Megyn Kelly, the source said, and that's probably an understatement. Trump has repeatedly and personally insulted Kelly in recent days.
But talks are underway about a Trump interview with another prime time host, like Sean Hannity, the source said, adding that nothing had been confirmed as of Monday morning.
In the meantime, Fox has dramatically ratcheted down its coverage of Trump. It hasn't covered Trump's criticisms of Kelly and the two other debate moderators, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier.
Trump's most recent tweet about Fox came on Sunday afternoon: "It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than Fox News. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, and I get zip!"
This is a true clash of titans. Fox News is the favored network of Republicans, and Trump is the Republican campaign front-runner.

If FoxNews called Trump, they either want to try to capitalize on their 24 million viewership or they got so many complaints they fear losing regular viewership.

If negative Tweets against Fox and Megyn Crowley are any indicators, I’d say Fox has lost regular viewers, or at least threats to lose viewers.
Who said anything about Jeb? He’s exactly why I am concerned about Trump in the election. He’s splitting the party which opens the door for a liberal republican to win.
Why don’t you just go away! Many of us have grown weary of your TDS, and your bitter, silly posts.
Are we now allowing people to disrupt threads just because they don’t like a candidate. Please read this posters comments (not just to me )and explain to them why he is not welcome on Trump threads
If you dont like a candidate fine. Your choice but stop agrivating people who show support and offer you information which you refusee to.read
Plus I think something even larger might be in the works involving Reinse Priebus and the GOP (by virtue of the fact that Trump is rumored to be reconsidering the 3rd party pledge).
Last week was a yuuge assassination attempt on Trump by Fox and the GOPe and it failed miserable. Having reviewed the field of battle (and the remains of their bloody carcasses), they might be ready to wave the white flag.
Don’t trust them Trump. Keep your head down. They gave up too easily. But for sure it is uuge. Something is afloat and it may be pure ....whatever
Really? Are we not allowed to post on the threads we choose? I’m not a Trump fan. I’m not a Jeb fan, either, but I’m sure if someone posted a link about him, it would be full of anti-Jeb folks.
Losers say, “Deal”. Fox is the loser.
I used to watch her show nightly. USED to.
Haven't watched it since!
Why?
Should be obvious...
She abandoned her role as neutral host in the debates, and entered the realm of the previous beached whale: intruded as participant; as promoter, as propagandist for topics NOT in the mainstream of America. She had flirted before on her show with the LGBTQWETY pro-sodomy perverts and the feminazi baby killers/baby parts sales. She already had 2+ strikes agains herself.
This was the third strike.
She wants to go there? She can do it on PMSNBC!
Yep. Fox News - CNN’s favorite news channel. Despicable.
We know TNMOUTH doesn’t like Trump! I don’t like a lot of the other candidates but I don’t have to insult them. It’s tiring.
Professional politicians should wear uniforms like NASCAR drivers, so we know who their corporate sponsors are.
They’re all pre-owned bought and paid for.
I’m not sure “questions” is the right approach either. I’m thinking bringing up generally-considered important topics for open discussion and debate with minimal moderator interference would be better.
Very true.
I heard Glenn Beck say today that the only two people who can call into Fox News are Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump! Beck was ballistic that Fox apologized to Trump. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough asked this morning if Trump was talking to Roger Ailes and he said he was not going to say anything. He did not want to embarrass anyone. That told me it was “yes.”
Excellent !!
I've always watched M. Kelly.
No more!
I am not alone.
We know TNMOUTH doesnt like Trump! I dont like a lot of the other candidates but I dont have to insult them. Its tiring.
