GOP Gov.: "Time To Move On" From Same-Sex Marriage
Possible Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich believes it's "time to move on" from the same-sex marriage issue in the wake of the Supreme Court's landmark ruling.
"I do believe in traditional marriage and the court has ruled and it's time to move on," Kasich said on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday, adding that there's "so many other things now that we have to focus on."
Same-sex marriage opponent: conservative beliefs need to be respected Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention told CBS' "Face the Nation" that people of faith "are not going to simply surrender" their traditional marriage views because of the Supreme Court ruling.

Kasich is my governor who I voted for in the past. Now I regret it. Kasich is a SNAKE IN THE GRASS ! NOT fit to be in any elected office.
NEVER! I will never vote for someone who does not stand strong for normal marriage and who does not seek to correct the tyranny of the courts.
Victory through surrender!
John Kasich “ I just went to a pederasty weekend. I had a good time because people I love were happy at that meeting and I will love them unconditionally. Let’s now move along to more important things”
Great Quip!
Works for the GOP every time.
(No Really, they win by having US, their supposed base, loose)
Victory through surrender!
The other side would not have just “moved on” had the ruling gone the other way. Is this how he also feels on Roe v. Wade, Kelo v. Connecticut, Dredd Scott, etc.? The court has ruled, now just move on?
I’ve seen this story before. Not only is he surrendering, but he will soon be “evolving”.
I can’t envision Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, or Bobby Jindal taking this stance. Some of us still care about these issues...and always will.
“Parliaments which create and promulgate such laws must be aware that they are transgressing their powers and remain in open conflict with the law of God and the law of nature.”
Pope John Paul II
Matthew 24:38
For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even till that day in which Noah entered into the ark,
Before we Americans, our politicians and Gov. John Kasich “move on” as to accepting non-traditional marriage, we who have religious beliefs or personal ethical beliefs that traditional marriage is sacred or the only true permanent family bond may continue to freely practice, espouse and not be harassed due to our belief/opinion.
Our places of worship, religious prayer leaders and all who follow traditional marriage must be guaranteed that First Amendment continues to protect our free exercise of religion and free speech as to our beliefs/opinions. This is best done with a passed federal law which states the federal court ruling only only expands the civil marriage laws among the states, but does not affect freedom of religion.
Kasich, squishy Kasich. Attend all the queer weddiings you want; it will still not cut any ice with those of us who honor the Scriptures. - What part of “Thou shalt not” do you not understand? Christ kept the commandments, all of them. St. Paul tried to & he said “Thou shalt not” do homosexual acts. OT & NT are clear on it. - Now, let him who is filthy be filthy STILL; but just don’t ram it down my throat!
and they wonder why they are being abandoned by voters
bump
He’s DONE before he even got started. Can’t wait to see him at the kiddie table next time now that Fiorina is in 4th place. Bye bye cuck
I don't suggest conservatives get together and kill 600,000 people, but Kasich is wrong. Conservatives need to drop Kasich from any future political consideration.
I've passed him and don't even see him in my rearview mirror.
It’s time conservatives and Christians moved on from Kasich.
Another milquetoast speaks.
I hardly know anything about this fool except that his father was a mailman. :P
Ah, the standard ball-less GOP response.
