Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem.

Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem, and throws tea into Boston Harbor.

Revolutions. How times have we heard that revolutions have been carried out for less than what Washington has forced on us? The organization that is nominally on our side is just as corrupt.

Donald Trump is the revolution. He must go after the nearby corruption before tackling the state, just as Jesus the Jew attacked his priests before taking on Rome. Our founding fathers had to deal with colonial loyalists, while fighting the British.

Revolutions are messy, difficult to watch. The Weatherman of the 1960’s and 1970’s were vile and violent, then went dormant, then attained power in 2008. We don’t have that kind of time.

Today, we have the vile, without the violence. Our revolution is peaceful, but at times ugly and disconcerting; a small sacrifice for major change.

Trump knows this, and is not going anywhere.

"Oh...the “common snese” of say, McCain, or Boehner or “Mr Common sense, McConnel”. And of course Jeb is just overiding with “common snese” ( or is it Common Core, I get confused.)"

No, and I wish I had a dollar for every time a Trump supporter has offered this weak rationalization.

The common sense of a Constitutional conservative. We have one, you know. McCain, Boehner, etc. are false choices you throw out in order to convince yourselves Trump is the only option.

"And now to invoke another crazed, over the top Patriot...Patrick Henry, “GIVE ME LIBERTY..OR GIVE ME DEATH!” ( btw, Henry was an entrepenur who became a politician, hmmm...bet the early colonists thought he was crazy too.)"

Okay, thanks, there's another one for the list.

Winston Churchill

Ronald Reagan

William Wallace

Merlin the Magician

And now Trump is Patrick Henry. Though I have to say, Jesus tops the list.

"Christ was/is the most important man on earth"

Hold up right there. Christ was and is God in the flesh, the Creator, and our Redeemer. He sits at the right hand of God as we type on this forum.

"Jeb is a republican, been one for a long time too. I like Cruz, and I also like Trump, and I hope that Cruz makes it, but let me pitch a hypothetical to you: If it came down to voting for Jeb or Trump, you would vote for...?"

I'll be clear. Jeb is an undercover liberal Democrat and I will never cast a vote for him.

Trump is a self-admitted liberal Democrat and I will never cast a vote for him, either.

Tell me this. If Trump admitted he's a Democrat in many ways only two weeks ago, why on earth do you think he would get my vote any more than Jeb would?

Recently I told a Trump supporter about Donald admitting he held Democrat positions only two weeks ago.

You know what the response was?

“I’ve changed a lot in over 50 years, so I don’t care about Trump’s ancient history.”

I repeated that Trump made the statement only a couple of weeks earlier. At that point the poster started screaming in all caps and refused to talk any more.

So what your saying is third party. At least Trump has the temerity to tell the truth about himself, while candidates like Jeb, (the republican lineup is packed with his kind with the exception of Cruz, Carson), can't tell the truth for fear that they will be exposed as something worse than a democrat.

"How sad it is for those who are buffeted by the winds of change"

Who said anything about being buffeted by the winds of change. Didn't know you were a poet.

Let me see, my exact words were: "People can, and do change. Those that don't are either lazy, stupid, or stubborn, or a combination of the three."

Change in a person's belief system is sometimes referred to as personal growth, as in spiritual and philosophical change. Of course you understood my meaning, but you choose to play childish games and attempt obtuseness where the meaning is clear to anyone, even a child.

Do you mean I'm saying I will vote for a third party? I didn't say that.

"YAt least Trump has the temerity to tell the truth about himself, while candidates like Jeb, (the republican lineup is packed with his kind with the exception of Cruz, Carson), can't tell the truth for fear that they will be exposed as something worse than a democrat."

Trump told the truth about himself two weeks ago, when he appeared on "Morning Joe" and said that some of his positions are those of a Democrat. That should be reason enough for conservatives to rule him out as a candidate, especially when we have much better options.

If you READ the orignal post..the poster was NOT saying Trump is Jesus.

He referred to the turning of the tables of the moneychangers...

That’s what Trump did, by pointing out the hypocrisy of all the pols ( including LOTS of Republicans) who eagerly take donations from lobbyists or business men and then say they are pure and this money doesn’t influence the political or other decisions they make. He was outing himself and all the hypocritical pols.

Not a whole lot of conservatives are coming clean about the pork they got for Illegal Immigration, etc.

All I am doing is giving credit to Trump for the positive things he has said OUTLOUD about the political process and the changes we need to make. No “reasonable conservative” has done this as dramatically as Trump.

Even if Trump can’t win...SO WHAT?

He has done some very dramtic and NEEDED things for conservatives. Again, how the heck could these 9 other guys have ever gotten 27 million (non political junkies) to see our conservatives talk?

Fair enough, although I do admire Trumps bull-in-a-china shop approach in dealing with the MSM, Dems, GOPe. I believe he is paving the way for Cruz.

Hello... good comments by the two of you.

Consider this: Trump has seen a President who gets everything he wants, ignores the rule of Law, and never suffers consequences for his poor choices - no matter how bad the outcome.

Maybe Trump thinks that is the perfect seat for him to occupy.

The media is in trouble. They are being bitched slapped everytime they even think about somehow maybe possible slightly getting in Trumps way.

He is making the individual reporters the news and they don’t like that spotlight on THEM, AND they are finding out that nobody is coming to their assistance, not the networks, not the polls.....so they are deciding I AIN’T GONNA LOSE MY JOB, I’M LEAVING MR. T ALONE.

Exactly backwards.

Principle things do not change. They are timeless and true. That is why they are called 'principles'... 'First things'. Hence, one who is founded and guided by principle requires little change. Those foundations have not changed a whit in me, and they never will.

Those who require 'personal growth' are those who are lacking in principle - having found something they did not possess before, thus requiring the painful process of rejiggering. I'll be kind and chalk that up to ignorance, but the point is that the one who required change was the one who was lacking.

TRUE, but only to a point... If his populism takes all the heat and light away from the true Conservative - If the more conservative have to drop out - Then what are you left with?

That is quite an assumption and leap in "logic" on your part. Utter foolishness. Please do not bother to respond further.

ROTFLMAO!!!

And 'Those that don't [change] are either lazy, stupid, or stubborn, or a combination of the three.' is not? If you don't care for broad brushes, perhaps you shouldn't have used one to begin with...
