Let me see, my exact words were: "People can, and do change. Those that don't are either lazy, stupid, or stubborn, or a combination of the three."
Change in a person's belief system is sometimes referred to as personal growth, as in spiritual and philosophical change. Of course you understood my meaning, but you choose to play childish games and attempt obtuseness where the meaning is clear to anyone, even a child.
Exactly backwards.
Principle things do not change. They are timeless and true. That is why they are called 'principles'... 'First things'. Hence, one who is founded and guided by principle requires little change. Those foundations have not changed a whit in me, and they never will.
Those who require 'personal growth' are those who are lacking in principle - having found something they did not possess before, thus requiring the painful process of rejiggering. I'll be kind and chalk that up to ignorance, but the point is that the one who required change was the one who was lacking.
