Reports have emerged that Donald Trump has given the youre fired treatment to his ally and adviser Roger Stone. However, Stone said that he was the one who called it quits with Trump, saying that his constant feuding is distracting from the core issues.
Trump told The Washington Posts Robert Costa that Stone would dispute how the split happened, and indeed, Stone said he was the one who called it quits. The real estate mogul insisted that the move was a result of Stone not being a serious contributor to his campaign, while also citing the publicity his statements have recently received.
A Trump spokesperson reportedly told MSNBC, we have a tremendously successful campaign and Roger wanted to use the campaign for his own personal publicity.

Good to know I’m not the only one with a Nixon tat. /s
nice juxtaposition on your two posts:

Sears played a pivotal role [clarification needed] at the 1968 Republican National Convention in securing Richard Nixon’s nomination for the presidency.
Whoever even heard of Roger Stone?
Pretty much what I guessed. When one surrounds themselves with "yes men" they are unable to take criticism without lashing out because they aren't used to anyone questioning them.
Trump twitter rages against journalists/people he doesn't like, calls them "stupid", "dumb", "over rated", it's a lot like a child who doesn't have parents that ever say "no".
According to the reports, Trump also doesn't seem to differentiate between on line non scientific polls and real scientific polling. He thinks the online Drudge report poll matters, even though if you believed that click bait Ron Paul would be President (and on election even Romney would have won).
They also came to blows about Elliot Spitzer...Trump was on the wrong side.
Go figure...
Longbow,
I tried saying the same thing about the Drudge poll...glad you shared my sentiment.
They gave him a chance to save face and resign. I see why he was fired. What joke. Move on . Nothing there except roger is finished.Donald? Is that you?
Is his brother Keith Stone?
I...can't...turn...it...off...
Mediatite got it from Politico and as have said so many times before anything from Politico should be taken with a grain of salt
LOL, I'm betting you don't know anything about this as all. Trump isn't saying they gave him a chance to save face and resign, he is just saying he fired him. Stone is saying he resigned first. If they were allowing Stone to save face, why would Trump make such a big deal about stating that they fired him?
You are just making this stuff up as you go. Typical Trumpster behavior. Anything Trump does is good in the Trumpster mind, no matter how childish, stupid, silly, etc.
No one yet really knows the truth here. But a lot of what Stone says about Trump not understanding the difference between non scientific polls and real ones, along with Trump being surrounded by a bunch of "yes men" rings true based on "the Donald's" behavior.
“Trump twitter rages against journalists/people he doesn’t like, calls them “stupid”, “dumb”, “over rated”, it’s a lot like a child who doesn’t have parents that ever say “no”.”
He puts me in the mind of Anthony from the Twilight Zone episode “It’s A Good Life”. He’s apparently banished someone else to the cornfield for thinking non-approved thoughts.
“That’s a real good thing you said about Megyn, Donald. Real good!”
LoL. Like who?
I agree. Stone has written some books on Nixon.
Winning Presidents have fired overly ambitious self promoting campaign managers throughout history.
Thank you...I needed a laugh this afternoon.
Plus it’s a pretty darn good post!!
Go Trump!!The country certainly wouldn't be any worse than it is now if Trump were president. I'd wager that we'd be in a much better position.
But, ANYBODY who would choose Trump over Cruz has a screw loose.
