Scott Walker weighed in on the latest Donald Trump kerfuffle on Twitter, saying there was no excuse for Trumps remarks about Megyn Kelly. Walker has so far made a point of staying out of the fray, avoiding both engaging with Trump or responding to Trumps attacks on him. But today he changed tack, taking a jab at the business mogul.

Amen Brother. Megyn Kelly is simply 2015’s version of Candy Crowley.
I like what Walker did to the government employee labor unions in Wisconsin and gave him money to defend himself.
But I heard he was acceptable to the GOP Establishment in the presidential race and that caused me to see Ted Cruz as the better candidate and I support Ted fully.
Trump was roughed up and he uses rough language I wouldn’t use.
But they were gunning for him in that debate to help the anointed candidate of Fox News, Erick Erickson of RedState and all other Republican Establishment operatives, Jeb Bush.
I don't know if it's all that complicated I'm sure Rove thought Trump and his ranting about Illegals would get old, anyone that joined in would be labeled fringe Tea Party crazies, and no one would care anymore when primary time started in earnest. Then Kate Steinle was murdered, Tana and Jason Shane were murdered, Marilyn Pharis raped and murdered and more. These stories put a ton of wind in Trumps sails by validating every single claim and reminded everyone all those politicians can't be trusted.
Trump's apparent inability to self destruct is a complication they didn't account for.
“Talk is cheap. Trump will still run his mouth on Hannity or Maddow. It makes no difference.”
It makes this difference: if he keeps this up all the way to the general, I will vote for him.
Even knowing that I might wake up the day after and realize we have elected a leftist under a false flag, I will vote for him solely on the strength of his saying the right things.
After all, that’s more than any of the other pubby pajama boys are doing.
“Trump was roughed up and he uses rough language I wouldnt use.”
So what? The mooselimbs are at the door, frothing at the mouth and lusting for our death and destruction, and you care about a little rough language?
You’re going to vote against the only man who even admits that we are in trouble because he uses rough language.
Walker has plenty to like. On immigration, not so much. But we’re going to have our work cut out for us with any of them on that subject.
I’m for Cruz and I don’t feel so good about Trump, I even suspect the Clinton’s may have put him up to it.
But Trump is flushing out the Republican Establishment like Erick Erickson, Fox News etc. etc. and exposing how most of the candidates other than Jeb got into this race to split the votes so Jeb could lead and or be attack dogs on any candidate who overtook Jeb in the polls like Trump has.......
I hope in the best case scenario there’s a bloodbath with the business as usual Republican political machine utterly destroyed and a real conservative like Ted Cruz standing unscathed at the end.
I agree with almost everything you said, but I am both astounded and appalled that no one seems to see the weakness in Cruz’s face.
I’m an elderly cripple, but I would walk up to Cruz and slap him in the face, hard, in complete confidence that he would not hit me back.
He’s a pussy.
You’re entitled to your opinion.
Ted Cruz hasn’t joined in the “Trash Trump” crusade and is taking a high road. I can handle that.
I tend to agree with Trump. I did not see the debate but in reading it the first time it did not occur to me of something bad. He was speaking about eyes and nose, mouth, and ears seemed obvious to me.
:Youre entitled to your opinion.”
Opinion? Sort of like an opinion that “Mount Rushmore exists.” Or, “The Pacific Ocean laps at the shores of California.”
Be glad you weren’t around during the 1800 Presidential election then.
We know what he meant.
.............
What’s clear is that you know your own mind. What’s not clear is that you know Trump’s mind.
Perfectly stated (bold is mine). There you go. The Trump bubble in a sentence.
It really can't end well.
OH MY SIDES!!! You really think the stupid things Trump says have anything to do with the first amendment? Yeah, keep sipping that kool-aid.......
Ha ha ha, Taliesan. I agree with ckilmer in #334. You don’t know what Trump was thinking. I just listened to Trump’s comments and it seemed to me that he was just moving on in his statement, by, throwing in a “whatever” and getting to his next words.
Don’t get duped into playing the media game, where you make judgements on (edited) sound bites. In the context of the whole interview, Trump seemed very measured in his comments.
No. We lost Senate seats because GOP candidates spoke the truth, perhaps ineloquently, and their own party threw them under the bus for sake of style over substance.
That’s right, he meant to say she was bleeding from her nose. But he didn’t complete the phrase ending in “nose”, because the next thought beckoned so urgently. So he left off the word nose and said “whatever” (or was it “wherever”? the next thought beckons me so urgently.)
We were all in junior high once. Then we grew up.
Question to you Taliesan: Does it sound to you that he said “whatever” or “wherever”?
