(CNSNews.com) – During a “voters first presidential forum” in New Hampshire on Monday, GOP presidential candidate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal criticized President Barack Obama’s deal with Iran, saying he “declared war on trans fats and a ceasefire with the largest state-sanctioned sponsor of terrorism.”
“This is a bad deal. He’s declared war on trans fats and a ceasefire with the largest state-sanctioned sponsor of terrorism,” said Jindal regarding the nuclear deal with Iran.
As CNSNews.com previously reported, the Food and Drug Administration ruled in June that trans fat is not “generally recognized as safe” for use in food and gave food makers three years to remove partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) from food products. The move is expected to reduce coronary heart disease and prevent heart attacks, according to FDA Acting Commissioner Dr. Stephen Ostroff.
According to the White House, the Iran nuke deal would “increase the time it would take Iran to acquire enough material for 1 bomb from 2-3 months to at least 1 year, reduce Iran’s stockpiles of enriched uranium, reduce the number of Iran’s installed centrifuges by two-thirds, prevent Iran from producing weapons-grade plutonium, track Iran’s nuclear activities with robust transparency and inspections.”
“Look, a good deal would say anytime, anywhere inspections, would say no centrifuges, no enriched uranium, would say they have to cut off ties to Hamas, Hezbollah, and terrorist groups, they have to recognize Israel’s right to exist, they have to free those American prisoners,” Jindal said. “We will only – and no plutonium pathway – we will only gradually lift sanctions, not immediately.”
“Syria loves it. Israel hates the deal. That tells you all you need to know when our friends hate it, and our enemies love it,” he added.

never forget that the phony center for science in the public interest activist group, cspi, a vegeterian extremist founded and sponsored group, were the onbes that demanded restaurants and fast food chains stop using saturated animnal fat to fry french fries and other thigs in, because trans fats were healthier. they deny it now, but it is in their literature for all to see they are lying. saturated fats are much healthier for the body than trans fats. these knobs also were the ones who demanded movie theaters get rid of coconut oil and use trans fats, when again coconut oil is far better for you than transfats.
Very simple explanation. Progressive government ignores real threats while addressing fake threats. The reason they do this is because they know progressivism always fails.
