One America News Network is headquartered in San Diego. This conservative alternative to Fox News has been slowly gaining ground from Fox News viewers.
The first hint of Governor Palin’s visit was innocuous enough.
Nothing more than a simple tweet noticed by long time Palin watcher DeeDEEthree
Word is spreading around in @RPSDC and @CAGOP circles that @SarahPalinUSA is in town. Anyone else spot her besides @comebackzack?

Any mention of Governor Palin in Southern California was reason enough to grab my attention.
Quickly piecing together the few clues in Mr. Roach’s vague tweet led me to San Diego, OANN host Tomi Lahren, and a tantalizing connection to One America News Network.
By late Tuesday afternoon, all suspicions of Governor Palin’s visit to the One America News facilities in San Diego were solidly confirmed when OANN news anchor Cassie Leuffen revealed that Governor Palin had paid her a visit in studio.
So I was in makeup this morning and #SarahPalin walked in to say "Keep up the good work!" Guess word's getting out about little #OANN 😉

Notions that Governor Palin’s visit with One America News were nothing more than a casual visit were laid to rest the very next day when Palin showed up again at the OANN facility, this time spending time with Assistant Producer Maggie Lit, who was surprised by the Governor’s presence at the network for a second day.
Had an unexpected visit from Sarah Palin this morning! I said hi, she said I look COMFORTABLE and stared at my shoes? pic.twitter.com/hTGlVXpJ0r

The true purpose of Governor Palin’s extended visit with personnel at One America News remains unknown at this time.
Readers are encouraged to share their thoughts in the comments below.

Thanks to sharp-eyed regular Cheetah444, we have another tweet to share, this one from OANN anchor and news writer, Pearson Sharp
Got to meet @SarahPalinUSA at work! #Oann #theSovereign pic.twitter.com/isT2YkIE3Z

If you're taking flak....
Or, is Sarah checking them out for Trump.
There’s all kinds of talk about Trump should start his own network. Hmmmmm ..?? I wonder if this has anything to do with it. I read a comment a few days ago, saying Trump definitely wants to include Sarah in his admin.
I would love to get a job at OANN - part/time - doing public affairs. It’s so much fun; and I know the city pretty well.
And .. it’s right here in my city - wow!
Good one!
Does anyone watch NewsMax TV?
I see JD Hayworth is a host.
Perhaps that is another alternative to be explored....
Maybe Trump would be interested in giving OAN a boost.
I agree with all your names except Michelle Bachman.
I have a real issue with her ethics. When Michelle was running for re-election, Sarah spent some time helping her and made appearances in support of her.
Then, Michelle hired Ed Rollins as a consultant .. and the first thing he did was start bad-mouthing Sarah. I was outraged and I sent Michelle an email and scolded her for such a dirty trick against Sarah.
I found out later that Michelle made Ed call Sarah and apologize privately, but Michelle never made Ed apologize publically.
That did it for me .. and I believe these actions is why Michelle was not re-elected.
Conceding your point, how about Hank Williams, Jr. or Chuck Norris in her slot for that dream team lineup?
If you're taking flak....
I quit watching FNC over ten years ago. Not because of any particular gripe I had with them, but just because they weren't pinging any of my conservative patriot receptors.
I really did try to like them, but I just zoned out, watching their broadcasts.
FR, on the other hand, stimulated my mind and senses like crazy. Still does, for the most part. To date, there's still no place quite like it in the media universe.
After last night, I realized I haven't missed a thing by not watching Fox.
If anyone is interested, here’s a 40 minute interview by JD Hayworth with Donald Trump, on NewsMaxTV.
Seems to be on a few issues I haven’t heard him discuss in depth yet.

(Also kind of nice to be looking at a fresh face) ;)
You’re like an FR historian, RN!
We’re lucky to have you :-)
Trump should buy into this news channel and go head to head with FOX News.
Sounds like a fun new hobby for Trump.
Imagine the ratings boost the channel would get.
I like Chuck Norris; I’ve heard him speak and he’s very pro young people learning the truth about America.
That would be a great choice.
Midnite to 1AM.....”The dark and the macabre of conservatism” with darksheare and the UDT.
“After the bars close” with Laz. With Norm Lenhart as guesthost when Laz is otherwise occupied
I’d talk about things I never ever discuss. My first show would be on liberals on FR.
What??? ;)
The wallbanger thinks we’re fringe? Good.
The book is titled ‘The Sovereign’ .. it was written by Pearson Sharp, who is also an anchor and news writer at One America News. That’s him in the pic with Gov. Palin.

We pulled a bunch of stuff off your [Free Republic] website today and it's pretty vile; it's pretty awful. You've got some pretty sick people posting -- a couple of examples: 'Homosexuals are dogs.' 'I hate blacks.' 'Hillary Clinton should be assassinated.' 'A stray bullet should kill her' -- and on and on and on...
Recall that the "no spin" doctor tossed nothing but softballs when he interviewed hussien during the Super Bowl. Yet O'Reilly has the gall to characterize Patriot Jim Robinson's site as "pretty vile" and "pretty awful".
Y’all may remember that Hannity dissed FR right before Dan Rather was shown the door by CBS. Within a couple of weeks, right? I don’t think that was co-incidental. He was probably “counseled” by the ABC and Fox divisions of our News Cartel slavemasters.
Funny, I’ve been here a long time, and I’ve never read any messages like that on FR - ever.
So, he must have done a search for it .. and if it’s recent, then it’s some of the twitter people who have tried to co-opt FR .. but it hasn’t work out and most of them have returned to their sewer.
There was the matter of some harsh words aimed at Sasha and Malia Obama back in summer 2009 during a trip to France. But, as it turns out, the fast-acting moderators discovered the thread had been placed on Free Republic by leftists to discredit the integrity of this site. It was pulled post-haste once the truth came out about its origin.
It was reminiscent of the dustup involving Rush Limbaugh circa 1992 when he had a television show. The story spun by the left was that a picture of Chelsea Clinton was flashed on the screen and Limbaugh referred to her as the "White House Dog". Much like O'Reilly's mis-characterization of Free Republic as "vile", the Limbaugh incident was a fabrication. No archival footage exists.
