I’m with you 100%. I think Trump is great, because he will take the flak and open up the political debate. Cruz will appear far more reasonable by comparison. Without Trump, all that media vitriol would be aimed squarely at Cruz. So it’s a win-win.

That’s Cruz’s gameplan. Trump isn’t winning this and the only other candidate who comes close to Trump’s loathing of the establishment is Cruz.
I can agree that Trump is self centered. I can see why some would take him as being a ‘chaotic ass’. However’ I don’t believe he is anymore short-tempered than some of the people I saw. In my close to 90 years I learned a short temper can be sometimes an argument closer. Ronald Reagan was of such a temperament. I saw such several times.
Trump is just clearing the road for Cruz IMHO.
The sad thing is, on some level you realize that Trump's message appeals to the Right.
Who would his supporters flock to? Why they would flock to Cruz. You do understand why, and yet you're not happy that they see a lot of Cruz in Trump.
Cruz would draw Trump supporters if Trump dropped out.
He would draw them from people on this forum.
He would not draw them from Democrats, Women, and members of ethnic groups crossing conventional demographics like Trump is.
So by wishing for Trump to drop out, you are wishing for all these added people to drop support for our cause.
Supporting Trump right now, is supporting our cause.
If you don't believe it, just work your hardest to trash Trump and watch what happens. You're not going to like what your work to destroy him winds up getting you.
Is it just my imagination, or are all the most vehement anti-Trump Freepers those who have been here the longest? If so, then it leads me to think of them as the typical establishment types, those who see Trump as a threat because he does not “play nice with others” - especially gutless establishment eunuchs.
