Kermit and Miss Piggy have split up and moved on.
One of the great cross-species power couples of show biz will no longer be an item when ABC's new prime-time revival of "The Muppets" premieres on Sept. 22. (8 p.m.).
The two sent out a joint tweet Tuesday confirming their separation, though Kermit admitted to TV writers here it happened some time ago.

In light of all the recent celebrity breakups and the way they word their press releases, this is pretty funny.
So did I, It’s one of the few things I remember my entire family siting around and enjoying. I took my six-year old daughter to see Muppet Most Wanted. Not even thirty minutes into it she was tapping me on the shoulder asking if we could leave. When we got outside the theater she says to me “Mommy, I don’t understand how you liked those things when you were a kid, they are too stupid for words!” I almost cried!!
All those years wasted on that little green bastard.
