The wait is over.
Fox News said Tuesday that Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Chris Christie and John Kasich will all appear on the dais Thursday for the first prime-time debate of the primary season.
The seven other major declared candidates -- Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore -- will appear at a debate earlier Thursday evening.
The debate in Cleveland marks the beginning of a new stage in the Republican nominating contest, where candidates will likely sharpen their first contrasts with one another and the field's front-runner, Trump. The debates --- which gave new life to presidential candidates like Newt Gingrich in 2012 --- are now only open to the heavily splintered party's favorites....

The seven dwarfs: Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore.
Carly should have been in before Kasich, and Christie as well.
Perry has been saying a lot of stupid stuff lately. I want to have him on my possibility list, but he makes it very hard. He has been his own worst enemy.
Who in the sweet name of Sam Hill is Jim Gilmore?
I would like to see Santorum, Jindal and Fiorina move up (not that they are my candidates, but...) and Bush, Christie, Paul and Kasich move down.
Haha LG.
See ya.
Ex gov of VA
Former governor of Virginia, if memory serves.
Former Governor of Virginia...who has about as much chance of winning as I would in the ring with Evander Holyfield!

John Kasich, seriously?
Kasich? I’d rather see Santorum or Fiorina
I think he was washing his underwear in a creek while backpacking across Alaska the last I heard of him.
= :^)
Okay..., I admit it, Snopes won’t verify that. My bad.
He’s not going to win much of anything.
I would have preferred Carly Fiorina to John Kasich.
Kasich is boring and over-the-hill. He will not appeal to women, young or old.
The fix is in at FOX.
RE: Who in the sweet name of Sam Hill is Jim Gilmore?
From Wikipedia:
James Stuart “Jim” Gilmore III (born October 6, 1949) is an American politician who was the 68th Governor of Virginia from 1998 to 2002.
From 1999 to 2003, Gilmore chaired the Congressional Advisory Panel to Assess Domestic Capabilities for Terrorism Involving Weapons of Mass Destruction, nicknamed the Gilmore Commission. It presented five reports to Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and to Congress each December 15 from 1999 through 2003.
From January 2001 to January 2002, Gilmore was the Chairman of the Republican National Committee .
Gilmore, who desired to focus on electing conservative candidates across the United States, resigned from this position due to differences of opinion with the Bush Administration, who wanted the RNC to focus on re-electing the President to a second term in office.
Prior to entering Politics, Gilmore worked for three years in the early 1970s, in the 650th Military Intelligence Group. Serving in West Germany during the Vietnam War and fluent in German, he served as a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Agent.
Yes!! She is classy, intelligent, and a great debater.
Sexist much, FOX???
Perry wasn’t snubbed. He’s just not popular enough to earn a spot. “Snubbed” makes him sound like a victim.
So we can assume Christie will be the GOP-e’s designated suicide bomber who takes out Trump? Calls him pure racist or something other red-letter insult to poison the Trump campaign?
He blows himself up, but at least he removes the problem, that’s what The Establishment wants.
Or will it be somebody else ....?
