he world-record powerlifter formerly known as Matt Kroc Kroczaleski, who recently came out as transgender and requested to be called Janae Marie, has announced that shes still deciding whether to compete as a man or a woman going forward.
In an interview on TMZ Hollywood Sports this week, Marie said that she is currently living life in both genders at the moment.
I havent made any physical changes yet . . . as far as competing as a transgender woman, Im really unsure about that, she said.
Im hesitant because Im afraid it would do more harm than good. Im afraid its a no-win situation because if I win people will say its not fair, its cheating and Im afraid that it would stir up a lot of people protesting against transgender athletes and I would never want to do anything to harm the transgender community, she added.
Marie also told TMZ that she did not plan to come out so soon but that she was outed on Monday through a YouTube video, and so Caitlyn Jenner didnt really have an effect on the decision.
The bodybuilder revealed her gender identity in a post on her new Instagram page Wednesday.
When competing as Matt Kroc Kroczaleski, Marie set the the all-time world record in the 220-pound class in 2009 and won the 2006 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic WPO Powerlifting Middle Weight Champion title, according to the bodybuilders official website.

It WAS letting a man play tennis. Geez, why even moderate what is blatantly true?
This has already happened in women’s MMA.
Fallon Fox (I know, sounds like a stripper), a male who thinks he’s a woman, beat a MMA female competitor to a pulp.
It was actually kind of amusing watching the female MMA competitors try to remain politically correct while protesting the absurdity which is male athletes competing against females.
Andreas Krieger, who competed in the 70s as a Women's Shot Putter for East Germany, who now claims to be a man because of all the drugs.
We now know who one of the early contenders is for the “Arthur Ashe Courage Award” at next year’s ESPY Awards.
And liberals actually will argue it makes sense to say that is a picture of a woman.
I’m sure the real gals don’t care one way or the other.
I think the guy on the cover is Derek Poundstone.
Can't admit to being a homosexual that desire men, so some cross-dress, pretending to be a female that desires men, solves that little conflict for them.
Same with Bruce Jenner.
But it's all for naught, it's the little pieces fellas.
At least Bruce said he still likes the ladies.
I wonder what Mr Ashe would say about freak show rejects getting an award named after him?
Arthur Ashe showed true courage back when it was pretty much still open season on blacks.
These mentally ill people need to be in an institution where they can get the help they need.
I think it’s more of a Tirasias syndrome. You have guys in their late 40s early 50s that are getting older, and this is their perverted attempt at rebirth.
Very interesting take. what is tirasias syndrome? Sort of like getting a trophy wife for more normal males?
Got Cajones? Then I will call you Matt and not help you delude yourself. Please get some help at mental health clinic before it is too late.
mental illness
1. He was hot!
2. He does NOT make an attractive woman.
3. Reinforces my theory that this mental illness is related to hormonal imbalance.
Well I call it that after Tiresias, the famous Greek prophet that was transformed into a woman by Hera.
There’s actually a book called The Man that Would Be Queen, which basically splits make transgendered into two camps: 1 ultragay men that can’t accept their own masculinity, and 2 aging males that do it to try to escape their own death through transformation.
So this is how Title IX dies...to thunderous applause.
