he world-record powerlifter formerly known as Matt “Kroc” Kroczaleski, who recently came out as transgender and requested to be called “Janae Marie,” has announced that she’s “still deciding” whether to compete as a man or a woman going forward.
In an interview on TMZ Hollywood Sports this week, Marie said that she is “currently living life in both genders at the moment.”
“I haven’t made any physical changes yet . . . as far as competing as a transgender woman, I’m really unsure about that,” she said.
I’m hesitant because I’m afraid it would do more harm than good. I’m afraid it’s a no-win situation because if I win people will say it’s not fair, it’s cheating and I’m afraid that it would stir up a lot of people protesting against transgender athletes and I would never want to do anything to harm the transgender community,” she added.
Marie also told TMZ that she did not plan to come out so soon but that she was “outed on Monday through a YouTube video,” and so Caitlyn Jenner “didn’t really have an effect” on the decision.
The bodybuilder revealed her gender identity in a post on her new Instagram page Wednesday.
When competing as Matt “Kroc” Kroczaleski, Marie set the the all-time world record in the 220-pound class in 2009 and won the 2006 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic WPO Powerlifting Middle Weight Champion title, according to the bodybuilder’s official website.

An absurdity if someone with XY chromosomes is allowed to compete against those with XX chromosomes. But the world seems to be an absurdity, more and more.

I remember when Renee Richards was competing against other women tennis players back in the day. It was like letting a man into the women’s division.

this has to be satire, those cant be the same person. The lips on the guy are MUCH thinner, and his eyes are much smaller, his jaw line is wider, ect.

Agreed 100 percent. Additionally unless the pole is a hole in no manner should this thing even be considered and even then it should be placed in some other class by itself. . This Jenner guy is still 100% male and until he gets that pole cut off and hole installed he is simply in it for money. The X’s and Y’s never lie and i don’t care what parts you have added or deleted your X and Y chromosomes tell the truth. What this really should be called is mental illness.
