It turns out the rumors of Donald Trump's demise in the wake of comments about former prisoner of war John McCain were greatly exaggerated.
A new Economist/YouGov poll shows the bombastic billionaire remains on top of the GOP presidential poll. Trump has 28 percent support, followed Jeb Bush at 14 percent, Scott Walker at 13 percent, Ben Carson at 7 percent and Rand Paul at 5 percent.
*snip*
So what's the takeaway? Here's what YouGov said: "There is clearly a core group of registered voters who identify as Republicans that has coalesced around Trump's tough talk and proposals. He is even more clearly in first place than he was two weeks ago when Republicans are asked to choose among the current candidates."
Wish Cruz was on top, but other than that, I’m perfectly fine with it.
Ditto.
What do you mean by ‘messed up on the Lord’? No, seriously.
Of all of the people running for the GOP nomination Shrillery is hoping and praying... PLEASE LUCIFER LET IT BE JEB!
You don’t get it, do you? Other than Cruz, and perhaps one other person - the OTHERS you refer to are owned by the Chamber of Commerce. They aren’t going to address the illegal alien situation as long as their donors are filling their pockets with cash.
But Jeb & "W" do not have their father's level of intelligence; and have clearly allowed themselves to be used by those who mean to change America beyond recognition. As for Jeb's fund raising:
He does not have the forceful qualities to use the money effectively. The way that Donald Trump pushed Jeb "off stage," as it were, within mere hours, demonstrated the point. Jeb was rendered irrelevant by the Trump phenomenon. Even if Trump later stumbles, and drops out, the lesson will be retained. There are several running, who could certainly come on--regardless of what Donald Trump does;--but Jeb has been effectively neutered--and I do not mean that to be nasty.
Be careful what you hold close to your hart. If you read the Bible you will know what I mean.
I find that Jesus messes up that in our lives that needs to be messed up but His loving care in us takes us from mess to peace.
So let’s forget the little dust-ups of previous posts and lets be FR friends.. Peace bro...
