At a campaign event today at the U.S.-Mexico border, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump left the door open to amnesty. He did so at a press conference on the border: ...

“The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders and after that we’ll have plenty of time to talk about it.”
It’s a non-answer.
That makes no sense...

I did not hear anything about AMNESTY specifically, but I did hear “we must CLOSE THE BORDER first...” which is what any conservative had better say if they want the conservative vote. Sorry Jeb, put your sombrero on and do a Mexican hat dance. You are going to lose.
Yes basically he said we have to build the wall and secure our borders than we can have a conversation about it.
Horse pucky
Trump said NOTHING about amnesty
Wishful thinking or intentional damage by the lame streams reporting
Non-story from the neo-con scumbags at the Standard who love open borders.
That’s the point. I think. :)
Pathetic try Priebus and the snake running this DC insider rag.
The Weekly standard staff are in Full blown PANIC .
“After we strengthen the borders we’ll have plenty time to talk about it.
LoL. It is streeeeeetch by the Weekly Standard that he’s talking about amnesty.
Jeb¿
It's either all or none Donnie. Just sayin'.
Well that didn’t last long.
Totally untrue headline, if they got that from the exchange on the video.
Spin, Spin, Spin......nice try.
Sometimes I think headlines are written by junior staff members.
They are trying to TRAP Trump with this question, and he is WAY TOO SMART to take the bait. Republicans SWEPT Texas and the entire South by staying clear of this question and REPUBLICANS won 40-45% of the Hispanic vote. Talk BORDER SECURITY, Hispanics listen and support - talk deportation, not so much. They’re DESPERATELY trying to weaken Trump, and, again, he’s too smart for that.
So just ask yourself this: Has any Republican suggested DEPORTING yet? I didn’t think so. Most, actually, have SUPPORTED Amnesty in some form (other than Cruz).
That did not take long.
