Thousands of dangerous federal prison inmates will be released in November as a result of the U.S. Sentencing Commissions decision to lower federal sentencing for all drug trafficking and distribution crimes, two Republican lawmakers warned Tuesday.
According to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, the release will include inmates with violent criminal histories who committed crimes involving assault, firearms, and even murder.
...
the Sentencing Commission has estimated that 46,376 prisoners are eligible for early release under Amendment 782 with nearly 8,000 offenders eligible for immediate release on November 1, 2015.

Gun sales will skyrocket.
Send them all to “Sanctuary Cities”, Detroit and Chicago.
Don’t forget San Francisco and Boston.
they will be going to their home town, it is all they know, if I lived in South Central or Compton, I would not be to happy about this.
Maybe they can get jobs at the DEA and CIA.
released on November 1, 2015
arrested again before Xmas ,costing the Tax Payer millions
Not to mention Los Angeles.
Okay, I agree that some drug crimes (possession of a dried plant?) do not really rise to the level to require federal incarceration.
That being said, these prisoners are now, by a and large, hardened criminals, made that way by the Federal prison system. Releasing them is only going to increase the level of chaos in America.
Maybe that's what Obama wants. Maybe with enough chaos, people will BEG for martial law.
gotta get them out of the slammer
so they are ready to Vote!!!
Oh, just give it a month. The DOJ will direct all LEO to no longer arrest drug dealers. This will keep our prisons cleared and lower the cost to taxpayers.
It's all...
...good.
All part of the plan to complete the “fundamental transformation” before 1/19/2017.
...And you ain't gonna like the normalization part.
Democrat Party Motto: “Anything to hurt America.”
So—These Republican “leaders,” Goodlatte and Grassley, have no oversight in their respective roles as House Judiciary Committee Chair and Senate Judiciary Committee Chair?
Neither the House nor the Senate have any say in this move?
Why bother to vote Republican?
Crappy website. Can’t get rid of the overlay box about immigration policies. WHY! and why is it there without a Close X?
I’m tired of conservative websites that look like they were designed by frat boys on LSD. We should now look like the “Ted Mack Amateur Hour” if we are going to be taken seriously.
As they say in the job-seeking business, first impressions count!
We need professional looking sites, with clearly visible PRINT commands in the article.
These guys are just going to migrate home, where younger guys, who already have guns, have picked up the market share.
They will be found in an alley, shot once, with another 13 rounds sprayed around the area. If the shooter is lucky, he'll kill a random three year old that can be blamed on whatever white cops were within a mile. They aren't going back to the suburbs.
You really have to find the upsides, here...
The results are in:
Electing a president who is a racist, muslim, homosexual and an admitted heavy dope smoker and cocaine sniffer does has consequences.
